Sitiveni Sivivatu (Fiji - wing)
Born: 19 April 1982 in Suva, Fiji
Club: Te Awamutu Sports, Waikato
Height: 1m74 (5’9")
Weight: 100kg
Uncapped

The subject of a New Zealand–Fiji tug of war, young winger Sivivatu gave up the opportunity to represent his motherland in order to pursue his dream of playing for the All Blacks. He becomes eligible for New Zealand in December this year after the IRB ruled that his years at Wesley College did not count towards his residency. Sivivatu played fullback for Ratu Kadavulevu School in Fiji for two seasons before being offered the Wesley scholarship. He made his first NPC appearance for Counties Manukau whilst still at Wesley in 2001, then became the only second division player to win a Super 12 contract in 2002 and was later named NPC Division 2 Player of the Year. He played a strong part in the Chiefs run to the Super 12 semi-finals this year and even played in the All Black trials.
