Hi, I'm not sure that your AJAX search is actually working... I was looking for an article on the 'screen' utility, which is found at http://gentoo-wiki.com/TIP_Using_screen but your search box came up with no results.

That's because it only looks at the beginning of the article name by default. You have to click the link that says "search for articles containing word x" to get it to do a full search. -Tro 15:12, 23 May 2006 (UTC)

Congratulations. I like it and I use this site very often cause it helps a lot in the allday gentoo life ;)

Great new look, I plan to upgrade my personal Wiki too, but there is no ebuild out yet..... (btw 1.6.3 is out already;) Grexe 11:47, 12 April 2006 (UTC)

Yeah but its only to upgrade a mysql problem so i'm ignoring that release - Thrasher 15:28, 12 April 2006 (UTC)

hu. Personally i dont like the new icons and ajax-hype. sorry. But otherwise - keep up the good work :o

The new site looks great!!

I personally think that the automatically-updating search is ridiculous. Just my opinion, though.

I think the automatic search is awesome. I felt the need to balance the negativity on this page. :p -Tro

How is the AJAX search done? I searched on Google and mediawiki and I couldn't find any mention of an ajaz search feature. --Schissler

there is a setting; its in the default settings file you should check that out there are a LOT of cool things.. $wgUseAjax = true; in this case thou. -- Thrasher 15:08, 3 May 2006 (UTC)
