SAYEMBARA PEMBUATAN ESAI, CERPEN, dan PUISI
DALAM RANGKA MEMPERINGATI
“WORLD PEACE DAY : NO WAR, NO AIDS, NO DRUGS”

Dalam rangka memperingati Hari Perdamaian Dunia, Thulabi Club mengadakan berbagai lomba dalam bidang jurnalistik, diantaranya lomba penulisan esai, cerpen, dan puisi. Sayembara ini bertujuan agar remaja Indonesia bisa menimba ilmu, saling berbagi, dan bukan sekedar berkompetisi. Dengan cara ini, kami berharap semakin tercerahkannya paradigma remaja harapan bangsa untuk mencintai kehidupan yang damai dan bersih.

A. PERSYARATAN UMUM :

Adapun persyaratan umum yang diberlakukan adalah sebagai berikut :
1. Semua Lomba mengacu pada tema umum “Dunia Damai Tanpa Perang, Free Sex dan Narkoba”
2. Menyertakan biodata lengkap dan dilampiri fotocopy tanda pengenal berupa KTP/ Kartu Pelajar atau tanda pengenal lainnya
3. Karya cipta harus asli, bukan terjemahan maupun saduran karya orang lain, jiplakan atau dibuatkan oleh orang lain (bukan hasil plagiat)
4. Karya cipta tidak sedang diikutkan dalam lomba lain dan belum pernah diterbitkan/dipublikasikan
5. Lomba ini terbuka untuk pelajar SMP dan SMA di wilayah Jawa Barat
6. Peserta boleh mengirimkan lebih dari satu karya cipta, dan boleh mengikuti semua kategori
7. Sayembara ini tidak memungut biaya apapun.
8. Sayembara dibuka mulai tanggal 4 Desember 2006 dan ditutup tanggal 31 Januari 2007
9. Judul karya cipta bebas, mengacu pada tema umum dan tema khusus
10. Sayembara tertutup untuk panitia lomba dan dewan juri

DALAM rangka memperingati Hari Bahasa Ibu Internasional pada tanggal 21 Februari 2007, Paguyuban Panglawungan Sastra Sunda (PP-SS) akan mengadakan “Lomba Mengarang Novelet Anak-anak Berbahasa Sunda”. Peserta lomba terbuka untuk umum dan akan ditutup pada tanggal 31 Desember 2006 (cap pos). Novelet ditulis dalam bahasa Sunda, ditik komputer 2 spasi antara 20-40 halaman A4. Tema karangan bebas, namun disesuaikan dengan anak-anak umur 12-15 tahun. Naskah disertai dengan identitas pengarang dan dikirim ke Jln. Taman Kliningan II No. 5 Buahbatu Bandung 40264, pada amplop ditulis “Sayembara Ngarang Novelet Barudak PP-SS”, atau bisa juga dikirim ke email pangarangsunda@yahoo.co.id. Para pemenang lomba yang berhadiah total Rp 9 juta akan diumumkan pada tanggal 21 Februari 2007.

Wetpixel & DivePhotoGuide have organized a second international competition in association with Indonesia’s first Diving, Adventure Travel and Water sports expo, DEEP Indonesia.

Photographers will compete in 7 categories to win premium dive travel packages to some of the top photo destinations in the world, photo equipment, dive gear and more! Dive packages include trips to Wakatobi, South Africa, Vietnam, Malaysia, Bali, Palau, Philippines, Grand Cayman and the Red Sea! The contest includes a category for images that focus on conservation and the marine environment, one specifically for entries taken by compact digital cameras, and one specifically for Indonesian entrants.

Our panel of celebrity judges will select winners after the 11:59PM (Pacific Time), Jan 7, 2007 deadline.

In memory of Anna Politkovskaya
The International Cartoon Club is inviting cartoonists worldwide to take a part in the exhibition devoted to the memory of prominent Russian journalist Anna Politkovskaya.
“This murderous word -”Freedom!””

In her articles Anna exposed corrupt politicians, war criminals,

sharply criticized the government.
She was also a distinguished human rights advocate. Her murder at the hands of professional killer is another example of similar occurrences in modern Russia.

RULES AND REGULATION 2007
1. PARTICIPATION
This contest is open to anybody aged at least 18. By the simple fact of participating, all contestants accept the conditions and provisions of these regulations and agree to abide by the decisions of the jury. There will be no correspondence about this competition. The Belgian law is applied as far as the tax on the prizes awarded to foreign participants is concerned.

3. ENTRIES - In total 5 cartoons
3.1 The entries
a) must be original cartoons; in black and white or in colour.
The drawings may also be made digitally, and submitted on a CD-ROM.
b) may not as yet have been exhibited in Belgium, nor have won a prize at another festival.
c) may bear no captions
d) must be sent – either flat and not folded – or not folded, rolled in a hard case
Remark: The entries (dimensions, number, etc.)
and the registration form (signature, date of birth)

which do not comply with the above
mentioned articles will not be taken into consideration for the international competition and will be destroyed.
3.2 The participant will be responsible for the originality of his cartoons.

The Nikon Photo Contest International has been held by Nikon Corporation since 1969 to provide an opportunity for photographers around the world to communicate and to enrich photographic culture for professionals and amateurs alike. Renowned among photo enthusiasts worldwide, the contest has so far attracted more than 1,220,000 images from a total of 290,000 photographers. CyberFair Overview

International Schools CyberFair, now in its twelfth year, is an award-winning, authentic learning program used by schools and youth organizations around the world. Students conduct research about their local communities and then publish their findings on the World Wide Web. Recognition is given to schools for the best projects in each of eight categories: local leaders, businesses, community organizations, historical landmarks, environment, music, art, and local specialties.

This White House endorsed program encourages youth to become ambassadors for their own local communities by working collaboratively with community members and using technology tools to publish a Web site that displays what they have learned. The annual contest has involved more than one million students from 4,500 schools across 100 countries—and is considered the longest running international education cyber-event of its kind.

Competition judging also takes place online. Students evaluate each others projects by using a Web-based evaluation tool designed by Global SchoolNet. The top forty entries are reviewed by international judges, to determine the winners. Winners of International Schools CyberFair are announced each Spring at a event that is global in itself, with hundreds of schools participating via Internet.

The future is here. Scientific Award of the BMW Group 2007

Scientific Award of the BMW Group – “Passion for Innovation”.
The Scientific Award starts again with its motto “Passion for Innovation”. The BMW Group invites university graduates from all over the world to enter their groundbreaking ideas in a bid for the Scientific Award 2007. If you possess the passion to discover and research new things and the ability to process your discoveries in a scientifically convincing way, then you have an excellent chance. Submit your application. Closing date for entries is 7 January 2007.

The BMW Group has conferred the Scientific Award for outstanding final theses every other year since 1991. In accordance with the multidisciplinary principle of the prize, Bachelor’s, Master’s and doctoral theses from any discipline will be accepted. With prize money totalling EUR 70,000, it is one of the most valuable junior research awards. The prize is not only meant as a one-off distinction. It offers young scientists a network to establish a dialogue among themselves and with representatives from the worlds of business and science. As such, regular meetings between alumni and their professors take place in addition to the award ceremonies.

Entry
The internationally oriented Scientific Award is aimed at university graduates worldwide who have recently completed, or are about to complete, their final thesis or dissertation. Papers completed and submitted between 1 January 2005 and 31 December 2006 are or will be eligible for entry. In accordance with the multidisciplinary principle of the prize, theses from any discipline of diploma, Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, and also doctoral theses, will be accepted. Entry is only possible with the support and approval of the supervising professor of the department or institute to which the thesis was submitted. Theses which were written within or in collaboration with the BMW Group, which in any way have the BMW Group as their subject, or whose author was or is an employee of the BMW Group, will not be eligible for inclusion in the selection process.

Latar Belakang

Kuantitas dan kualitas penelitian ilmiah merupakan salah satu faktor penentu kemajuan bangsa. Negara-negara maju seperti Amerika Serikat dan Jepang memiliki banyak lembaga penelitian berkualitas yang didukung oleh kualitas dan dedikasi para penelitinya serta sarana/prasarana dan dana yang memadai. Pemupukan generasi peneliti harus dimulai dari awal, yaitu dari para peneliti muda. Penghargaan atas dedikasi, prestasi dan keberlanjutan jejak sebagai peneliti bisa menjadi pemicu meningkatnya kemampuan dan jumlah peneliti. Diharapkan kegiatan Pemilihan Peneliti Muda Indonesia akan mengarah pada terwujudnya kondisi ideal tersebut.

Kegiatan Pemilihan Peneliti Muda Indonesia disingkat PPMI, telah diselenggarakan sejak tahun 1990 oleh Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia (LIPI). Penyelenggaraan PPMI tahun 2006 ini merupakan penyelenggaraan yang ke-13. PPMI yang diselenggarakan oleh LIPI diharapkan dapat menumbuhkembangkan budaya meneliti bagi generasi muda serta meningkatkan apresiasi Iptek dan mewadahi keingintahuan peneliti muda. Kegiatan ini merupakan salah satu upaya bagi LIPI dan pihak terkait untuk bersama-sama melaksanakan tugas dan fungsinya dalam pembinaan perkembangan Iptek, dan peningkatan kesadaran ilmiah masyarakat, dan menumbuhkembangkan budaya meneliti di kalangan generasi muda. Kegiatan ini juga menjadi pengisi dari Tahun Indonesia untuk Ilmu Pengetahuan 2005-2006 yang dicanangkan oleh Presiden Republik Indonesia pada 27 Oktober 2005 yang lalu.

abstrak terbaik untuk masing-masing bidang keilmuan (total 180 abstrak).

Peserta dari 180 asbtrak terbaik, akan mengikuti training penulisan paper
standar internasional tgl 25-26 November di Bandung, GRATIS!!

Pemateri training adalah :

paper standar internasional, selama kurang lebih 2 bulan.
