Inside MUSIC - Notorious B.I.G., Tupac Shakur To Be Inducted Into Hip-Hop Hall Of Fame

Posted Mar. 11, 2002 -- As we previously reported, the Hip-Hop Super Conference and Expo is scheduled to take place at the Puck Building in New York City from Mar. 12 - 15, and now comes word that a venerable roster of hip-hop legends will be inducted into the Hip-Hop Hall of Fame during the event.

The induction ceremony, which will take place tomorrow, will honor the Notorious B.I.G., Tupac Shakur, Run-DMC, Grandmaster Flash, Afrika Bambaataa, Kool DJ Herc, Russell Simmons, the Rock Steady Crew's Crazy Legs, KRS-One, Salt-N-Pepa, Slick Rick, legendary graffiti artist Dondi, LL Cool J, Doug E. Fresh and Queen Latifah.

Inductees to the Hip-Hop Hall of Fame were chosen online via public voting. Notorious B.I.G. received 60 percent of the nominations.
