Clear skies and light winds will contribute to a light freeze across North Texas tonight, but another mostly sunny day with a few high clouds is on tap for Tuesday. Clouds thicken on Wednesday with rain developing Wednesday night into Thursday morning. At this time it appears that the DFW area can expect light rainfall amounts, while areas south of a line from Stephenville to Athens can expect one inch or more. Another shot at rain can be expected on Saturday, but the weekend system will not be as widespread as what we will have Wednesday night. No sign of arctic air moving down anytime soon.
