Minor League Hockey Team Kicked Out Of Arena, Apartments

POSTED: 3:55 pm EST January 5, 2007

Kissimmee's minor league hockey team no longer has a place to play and the players have nowhere to live.

The coach of the Florida Seals admits the team was in default on their lease with the Silver Spurs Arena. So the arena locked them out and cancelled Friday night’s game.

On top of that, the coach said, the players were kicked out of their apartments because they're furnished by the team.

The Florida Seals coach said the team doesn't have the money to pay the arena. Right now, they don't know what that means for the rest of the season.
