Heritage College has built a strong tradition of academic excellence.
Heritage College, formerly Professional Careers, Inc., was founded in 1990. In February 1991, the College received accreditation from the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT). Since that time, the College has diversified its program offerings and now provides a variety of career-training programs.
In July 1997, Professional Careers, Inc., received approval to change the name of the College to Heritage College. In January 1998 Southwest Education Group, LLC, purchased Heritage College.
In May 2003, the College was proud to become part of Kaplan Higher Education Corporation, which is dedicated to continuing the same excellent education for which Heritage College is known.
