AFI is proud to present the AFI Catalog of Feature Films, a groundbreaking online benefit for AFI members. The AFI Catalog contains filmographic information for all American feature films produced from 1893-1971. AFI AWARDS Outstanding Movies of the Year for 2000 through 2005 are also included.
According to Los Angeles Times film critic Kenneth Turan, the AFI Catalog is "nothing less than an authoritative Oxford English Dictionary of American film." The AFI Catalog provides authenticated online information on every feature-length film produced in America or financed by American production companies. Details on cast, crew, plot summaries, subjects, genres and historical notes are included for each film.

The AFI Catalog database of Silent Films site contains over 25,000 entries of silent American films from the years 1893 to 1930.
Detailed information on cast, crew, plot summaries, subjects, genres and historical notes are included for each film. In many cases, entries from previously published Catalogs have been updated and augmented with additional information.
With funding provided by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, entries for over 750 silent feature films also include information on availability and sources for VHS tapes (NTSC) and DVDs (Region 1).
