¤ Wednesday, January 17, 2007Next week the B&C movie will be out. Excited? Anyway, I'm going to take a back burner to the movie news posting at this point. For those that want some up-to-date movie information, check out the director's site HERE. It has great, detailed information (movie info, stills, trailers, links, etc.) on the movie. Probably the place for all your B&C movie likings.
Anyway, take care.

¤ Friday, January 5, 2007Ah, it's a new year! And fans can start off the new year with the movie Blood and Chocolate, eh? The Blood and Chocolate official movie site has been expanded. My enthusiasm has picked up (check out the detailed summary of the movie). Anyway, like it or not, it's coming out. Not sure if I will see it theaters yet, but I'm definitely going to buy the DVD (that was always a given!). Anyway, at Wal-Mart I saw Klause's B&C novel out. There is no new cover; there is only a sticker that says "now a major motion picture" (or something to that effect). Darn. I was waiting for a new cover. Kind of like the poster. :)

¤ Monday, December 11, 2006Lookie, lookie! The Silver Kiss and Blood and Chocolate will be released in trade paperback editions August 14, 2007. If you want to go check out the covers, publishers Random House has them. Okay, here is one for Blood and Chocolate and The Silver Kiss. The covers aren't that great. Cliff Nelson's covers (the one that are present on the USA paperbacks, including Alien Secrets) are awesome. The new ones are just plain lame, sorry. The price (as of now) is descent: $8.99. Not bad for a trade paperback price (trade paperbacks ala the new devil in the publishing world *sighs*).

¤ Monday, December 4, 2006The trailer is in (I know I'm late--blame it on my lack of enthusiasm). Click here. I don't know if I'm gonna see it at the theaters. I would go see it for its "supernatural" element alone; I'm not blinded to the fact that this movie will stray greatly for the book--lets be real here. But even the trailer is making me worry. The movie looks only slightly above direct-to-video quality. Maybe I'm wrong.
There is also a new poster. Go to the Internet Movie Database and take a look.
