Fishing Lake park is located along the shores of Fishing Lake which is located between highways 5 and 16. 22km north of the town of Foam Lake, and 24 km east of the town of Wadena. The Park operates four locations: Leslie Beach, Knights of Columbus, Saskin Beach and the Foam Lake Golf and Country Club.

Services
The town of Foam Lake is 15 minutes away and provides shopping, mechanical, medical, and worship services. Reel Marine is located adjacent to the Leslie Beach Office and provides services such as hunting and fishing supplies, fishing licences, gasoline, propane and boat and motor repairs. Fishing lake Lodge is also adjacent to the Leslie Beach Office and offers a licenced dining room and cabin rentals.
Local History
Fishing Lake beaches have been popular for many years. Fishing Lake Regional Park was established in 1967.
Campsites
The beaches at Leslie Beach have well laid out campgrounds with electrified sites. All areas have picnic tables and BBQ's. Trash bins are centrally located. Modern toilet facilities are on site with coin operated showers, flush toilets and sinks. Please bring your own drinking water.
Play area
Leslie Beach has a spacious playground by the campgrounds with slides, teeter totters and a creative play centre. There is also a smaller playground beside the beach concession, near the mini golf, the camp kitchen and picnic area.
Concession
The concession at Leslie Beach provides treats and necessary groceries as well as the usual hamburgers, ice cream, pizza, etc. The Foam Lake Golf and Country Club has a licenced clubhouse with light meal service. Treats and snack foods are available.
Boating and Fishing
A boat launch and fish filleting shack is available. A $5 fee is charged to anyone wishing to use the facility who is not a registered camper in the Park. Walleye and Pike are easy catches!
Winter Sports
Ice fishing is a popular activity at Fishing Lake in the winter months.
Golfing
The Foam Lake Golf and Country Club has an excellent 9-hole course with grass greens and irrigated fairways. Golf carts and clubs are available to rent. The course is 2913 yards in length, par 35. There is a licenced clubhouse which offers light meals and lunches. Reservations are recommended. (306) 272-3801
Mini Golf
Leslie Beach offers a newly constructed 18 hole mini golf course located near the park entrance.
Swimming
Leslie Beach offers one of the best sand beach in the province! Filled with wonderfully even sand, it is a popular place to relax in the summer months!. A large buoyed swimming area demacrates the safe zone from water skiers and sea-doos. Swimming lessons take place the second Monday of July, and offer Red Cross levels.
