Nationwide Markets, Groundbreaking Codeshare

Through direct and connecting codeshare service via Southwest Airlines, ATA serves customers in more than 60 markets. As of March 1, 2006, ATA and Southwest significantly enhanced their codeshare agreement to provide customers with additional booking and frequent flyer program earning options. Travelers who purchase flights directly from ATA can choose to receive either ATA Travel Awards points or Southwest Rapid Rewards credits.

ATA Airlines operates nonstop service from Chicago-Midway to: New York-LGA, NY; Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX; Washington-Reagan, DC-DCA; Guadalajara and Cancun, Mexico. In addition ATA offers nonstop service between Houston-Hobby and New York-LGA.

ATA Airlines also operates significant nonstop service to Hawaii from:

  • Nonstop from Las Vegas, NV; Los Angeles, CA; Oakland, CA; Ontario, CA; Phoenix, AZ to Honolulu.
  • Nonstop from: Los Angeles, CA; Oakland, CA; Phoenix, AZ to Maui.
  • Nonstop from: Oakland, CA to Hilo.
  • Nonstop from: Oakland, CA to Kona (new service begins June, 2007).

ATA's simplified frequent flyer program, Travel Awards, offers one of the lowest thresholds for earning travel with the added benefit of no redemption blackout dates. With just two (2) roundtrips booked on, customers earn a companion coach class ticket on any ATA Airlines operated flight in the continental U.S. Additional rewards, including travel to Hawaii, can be earned quickly because all bookings online at receive an automatic bonus.

As a result of the recent enhancements in ATA's codeshare agreement with Southwest Airlines, those purchasing flights directly from ATA reservations and now have the option of earning either Travel Awards Points or Southwest Rapid Rewards credits.
