In 2005 CTBUH entered into a partnership with Emporis as the official high-rise buildings database.  While the Emporis database is available to the public, CTBUH members receive an account number and password which provides access to the Extranet portion of the website, allowing searches and additional information beyond the public site.  Please visit the high-rise buildings database at http://www.emporis.com/en.  If you would like information on becoming a member of the Council please click on the "Join" link on the left side of the web page, or contact Geri Kery at gkery@ctbuh.org

For over twenty-five years the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat has compiled and assembled a comprehensive collection of databases and information resources known as the Council's Knowledge System. The High Rise Buildings Database, the Knowledge System's centerpiece, contains data on thousands of tall buildings: the latest facts and statistics, visual images and video, and listings of professional firms linked to specific buildings and specialty categories.

Today the Council is recognized world-wide as "The Source" for information on Tall Buildings. The establishment of this searchable, interactive web site is the first step in a plan to bring this information to Council members in a more immediate manner.
