Through the floor to ceiling windows Noa may look like a glammed up Mexican canteen but don’t for a minute think this is a wham-bam-and-slam Tex-Mex rodent run! Yes the furnishings are rustic and weighty but there’s no tequila to be had as you can only drink wine and beer here. Noah Max (he of Tribeca’s Ice Bar fame) has created a Mexican second home for New Yorkers with the emphasis on comfort and quality service. There’s a good and very tasty food menu and if you don’t like anything they’ll take it back and replace it, so even if you can’t get a decent cocktail with this standard of service it’s worth a visit.
Nice bar to have a nice and quiet drink with your friends. You can also sit outside. Prices are OK, service too. Perfect for week days! Not the best bar I've been to, but not bad either. Try it out, and you can see for yourself ! by: Marc, Belgium, 29 August 2003
Almost out of place on St Marks, you will not find it unless it is open. A bar of two halves with snacky Thai style food. Nice decor and friendly owner make is a nice spot. Does nothing really well however... special cocktails would be nice. by: Anonymous, 13 May 2003
