Several heavy shining pieces of adena in those gloved hands. He gave a pleased smile as he shifted them in his palm and secured them safely in his pocket. Mesme had not survived, but he didn't care for the life of the dark elf. He was to be paid, for the heads of dark elves he did bring in.... The sun set over the mystical fields of the Elven Forest. What would Eldacar do with his time now? Would he return to the Kingdom of men and spend his newly earned money freely until he ran out? Would he buy some drinks, get drunk to the victory, and perhaps buy a night with a girl or two? With this prize he could... of course the faster he spent it... the quicker he would have to take on another mission. "Bah no... I'm bored of this routine. Every few months I take on a new mission, I develop a small fortune, and I waste it. None of it's new anymore," Eldacar thought to himself as he looked across this forest land. In truth he'd never been there before this time. In his battle with the dark elves seeking to kill Mesme, he had taken a short trip through the Dark Forest -- Cursed rotten by black magic in the conflict between the warring Elven factions. He was impressed by its danger. And soon he began to realize. He lived this life not for the money -- but for the danger. He couldn't stand his life if he weren't living on the edge. He needed to have a thrill. So he decided to change his life. And the first decision would be to return to this forest, and brave the dangers of a land forever night, ruled by a people who probably now wanted his head, and inhabitated by untamed creatures.
