October 20, 2006 - On October 25, Activision's Marvel: Ultimate Alliance arrives in stores for PS2, Xbox, Xbox 360 and PC, with Wii, PSP and PS3 versions to follow in November. IGN is geeked for the upcoming action RPG, which features more than 120 Marvel characters. Over the next month, we'll be taking a closer look at some of the heroes (and one nasty villain) who make up the greatest alliance in the history of comic books.
As committed as we are to fine ladies, we also like to talk about dating here on IGN Babes. But we have to do it with a twist. If you're a big enough nerd, you've probably already pondered what it would take to date a superhero. What are the challenges, and the rewards, to getting with an enhanced human?
Over the course of the next few weeks, we are going to be looking at the dateability of each of the characters featured in the game. How does one go about wooing The Thing? How do you date Sue Storm if you can't find her? Is Dr. Strange as weird as his name implies? We'll answer all this and more so if you ever get a shot at an ultimate alliance with a superhero, you'll know what to do.

| Dating Storm Storm is a tempestuous lady, but if you're able to bust through her tough exterior, she's got a lot of love to give. Getting through to her is the thing. Although she comes across as a toughie, telling her complimentary things like, "Hey, your Mohawk is extra beautiful today," or, "You look very nice in leather. It accents your eyes," will soften her right up. Sorry for the pun, but you can't be a fair-weather lover of Storm. You're either in it for the thunderstorms and rain, as well as the sunny wonderment, or you're not gonna work for Storm.

| Benefits of Dating Storm As with most super-vixens, Storm is one hot tamale. Just the fact that they cast Halle Berry as her in the X-Men films should give you an indication of the level of amazing beauty we're talking about here. Of course, beauty is only part of the equation. Having a lady friend who controls the weather is nice for many reasons. You'll never be rained out for golf, that's for sure. Likewise, if you really need an excuse to stay home, she can whip up the nastiest blizzard in the history of snow. But you gotta treat her right. |
