Lawrence admitted breaking Federal laws on campaign contributions to Democratic candidates. M. Larry Lawrence, exceeded the limit on the amount of money a person can give to help finance one year's election campaigns. Mr. Lawrence was fined $7,179 the amount by which he exceeded the $25,000 ceiling on donations

Lawrence rose from poverty to become a wealthy entrepreneur and was appointed Ambassador to Switzerland by Bill Clinton. He was among the 400 richest Americans, estimated fortune of $315 million Contributed $1-$3 million annually to charities and the arts Had contributed to liberal activist to finance anti-war activities in opposition of the Vietnam War.

Lawrence had long claimed to have served as a Merchant Marine during World War II, and wounded aboard a ship he claimed was torpedoed

1997 Congressional investigators could not find evidence that the late Ambassador to Switzerland, M. Larry Lawrence, served in the United States merchant marine or was wounded in a torpedo attack on a ship in World War II.

Clinton had Larry's remains placed at Arlington National Cemetery, but after learning that the World War II story was false, public outcry resulted in disenturnment of Larry's remains from Arlington under the order of a reluctant Bill Clinton.

1997 The State Department admitted that it had mishandled the vetting of M. Larry Lawrence's 1993 nomination as Ambassador to Switzerland. But officials denied that contradictions in his record were overlooked by investigators because he was a leading Democratic fund-raiser. 1997 the Army Released a List of 69 people who were given special permission to be buried at Arlington Cemetery during the Clinton Administration. 1998 Congressional investigators said to have found no evidence that political contributions played any role in selecting people to be buried at Arlington National Cemetery.

Sheila Lawrence filed a suit against political columnist Ariana Huffington, the column's distributor, Creators Syndicate Inc, and the National Enquirer over articles claiming she had sex with Pres Clinton; Lawrence is widow of M Larry Lawrence,. Vernon E. Jordan Jr., an influential Washington lawyer and a close friend of President Clinton, has stated ''absolutely and unequivocally'' that the young White House aide with whom the President is accused of having a sexual affair had told him that it never occurred.

Ariana Huffington ran for California Governor and lost to Arnold Schwarzenegger whom is related to the Kennedy's and so there, doesn't it all make perfect sense now that Stephen King killed John Lennon....
