Boy Scout Troop

Scout Mass at Annunciation

Saturday, February 3

Meeting Room “A” at 4:45 PM

Scout Sunday is observed nationally this coming Sunday, February 4.

All Troop 91 Scouts are asked to attend the Scout Mass at Annunciation on Saturday evening, February 3. We will assemble at 4:45 in Meeting Room “A” and enter the church in procession, sitting together in reserved seats. All Scouts are asked to be in finest uniform.

Our Scout Mass is planned for Saturday evening, so that it does not interfere with the regular Sunday services that many Troop 91 Scouts attend. Scout Sunday also gives Catholic Scouts an opportunity to attend church services with other Scouts.

Attending each other's religious services on Scout Sunday is a good way for the Scouts to learn respect and understanding of each other's religious beliefs, an important part of the Scout Law.

All Scouts of Troop 91 are encourage to invite each other to church this weekend!

The Scout meeting of February 7 will be held at 7:00 PM at the Decatur Animal Shelter on Central Parkway.

Ms. Mindy Gilbert will talk to us about responsible pet ownership, how to protect ourselves from dog bites, and volunteer opportunities (walking dogs)

Scouts are to wear the complete Class A Uniform, including neckerchief, belt, and socks. Be sure to have your current rank and position patches on your uniform.
