Vincent Lecavalier scored a tiebreaking power-play goal with 8:07 left in the third period to help the Tampa Bay Lightning beat the New York Rangers 3-2 on Saturday night.
Lecavalier's goal from the top of the right circle came after the Rangers were penalized for having too many men on the ice. Rangers captain Jaromir Jagr argued with officials to no avail after the penalty was called.
