MSP for B.C. Residents

IMPORTANT!
All residents of B.C. must enroll with MSP (for the definition of a resident see Who is Eligible?). Premiums are required by MSP and there are several payment options available to you (see Premiums).

If you need to:

• Apply for MSP coverage - see How to Enroll with MSP.
• Advise MSP of an address change or permanent move outside B.C. - fill out an Address Change form (see Changes that Affect Your Coverage).
• Learn what to do when you are leaving the province - go to Leaving B.C. Note: If you leave B.C. you will continue to be billed for premiums, unless you notify MSP that you are moving away permanently and no longer require coverage.
• Change your name on or replace your CareCard - see Replacement of a CareCard.
• Add or remove family members from your MSP account - go to Adding and Removing Dependents.
• Apply for premium assistance - fill out an Application for Premium Assistance (see Premium Assistance).
