Torchwood This Week has the schedule information on spinoff series Torchwood.

BBC 7 presents the 7th episode of its series of brand new Doctor Who radio dramas this Sunday at 6PM and Midnight GMT. It will be part 1 of the 2 episode finale for this run. Fans around the world can listen live or tune in to each episode on the website for 7 days afterwards. Paul McGann returns as the 8th Doctor. The stories are produced with Big Finish, who will later release them on CD. Immediately after the episodes is the tie-in documentary series "Beyond The Vortex".

Accidentally omitted last week - "Totally Doctor Who" is coming back for a 2nd Series on BBC One/CBBC, and it's adding a new feature. David Tennant and Freema Agyeman will take their roles as The Doctor and Martha into a weekly serialized animated story - "The Infinite Quest". Anthony Head (Giles in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Headmaster in the Doctor Who episode "School Reunion", British guy in the Taster's Choice ads) will also star in the story. The Infinite Quest will be a segment on all 13 episodes of Totally Doctor Who. If Totally Doctor Who has its first broadcast 2 days before the tie-in Doctor Who episode like last year, then The Infinite Quest part 1 will be the first time Martha is seen or heard on TV, even though Smith And Jones is her first story.

French Doctor Who fans see the last 2 episodes of Series 2 on France 4 this week - Thursday night at 8:40PM CET in French, Friday night at 11:20PM CET in English, with more French language repeats in the next week or two. Canadian Doctor Who fans watching the series in English finally get Army Of Ghosts (part 1 of the 2 part finale) on CBC TV this Monday at 8PM.

BBC Three begins another repeat run of Doctor Who Series 2 this Friday. Selected Doctor Who Confidential episodes at 7PM, followed by 2 Doctor Who episodes from 7:30PM to 9PM. This is presumably to help remind viewers that the 3rd Series of Doctor Who premieres on BBC One in Late March / Early April (depending on who you believe).

Note to viewers in Poland - Doctor Who seems to have vanished from the schedule after School Reunion aired on 27 January on TVP1. I have not located a new time period on any of the TVP channels yet. My knowledge of the Polish language is non-existent, so if there is special programming taking its place with a return date planned it would escape my attention.

As March TV schedules for US public TV stations begin to become available, we are slowly learning of more stations that bought the Christopher Eccleston episodes of Doctor Who. Two can be added this week - WLIW 21 New York City, NY (owned by WNET 13) and statewide broadcaster Idaho Public TV (serving all of Idaho and the Spokane, WA TV market). That brings us to 7 stations confirmed. Other stations known to have bought the show are WTTW 11 Chicago IL, KTEH 54/KCAH 25 San Jose/Watsonville CA, KBTC 28/KCKA 15 Tacoma/Centralia WA, WCET 48 Cincinnati OH, and WILL 12 Champaign-Urbana IL. If you work for a station that bought the show but is missing from the list, or your station starts advertising for the show, let me know so I can add you to the list. A reminder - Doctor Who is not part of the official PBS schedule. It is being sold seperately, like Rosemary & Thyme, Monarch Of The Glen, As Time Goes By, and Are You Being Served? Some stations will not have been able to afford it - some will think it is not a good match for their audience - some will think that everyone who was going to watch these episodes and support their station already saw the episodes on SciFi and BBC America.

For press releases on Doctor Who, keep an eye on the BBC Press Office and C21 Media .

Corrections and updates are welcome at thisweekindoctorwho-owner@yahoogroups.com , TWIDW on AOL IM , and thebfe on Yahoo Messenger. The listings:
