Designed by Landon Dyer, Apple Computer, Circa 1989
In the late 80's and early '90s, Apple's MPW compiler group was struggleing with the C++ language. (Both learning it, and developing compilers for it!) Their frustration produced several excellent hacks, principally the "Talking Bjarne" application (does anyone still have a copy of this program?) and this privately-produced "Screw Bjarne" T-shirt.
It was all in good fun -- Landon even gave Mr. Stroustrup one of these shirts when he came to Apple to give a lecture. We were worried that he would be angry, but he seemed delighted to have made such an impression on us!
