Snohomish County Council member, John Koster, doesn't think that promoting the Seattle Men's chorus is a good way of boosting the cultural- I.Q. of Everett.

In response, I've penned some limericks for John. Perhaps he'll find these more "sophisticated."

There once was an elected official,
Who desperately needed dismissal.
The Seattle Gay Chorus,
He thought would abhor us.
How could he be so superficial?

There once was a man from Snohomish
Whose opinions were really quite gnome-ish
He hated gay singers
And loved his right-wingers
His behavior bordered syndrome-ish.

There once was a man named John Koster.
The Mens Chorus, he did not want to foster.
An amendment he ran.
To hold down the man,
Our hit list---he just made the roster.
