No, it was from real events with witnesses of him putting his feet up on the table like that. So if someone were to copy, it would be Fight Club, but i doubt they did.

Steve Jobs is extremely blunt, but he isn't a yelling maniac.

Both movies are from the same year.. so I doubt it; not to mention that it would be a pretty pointless rip off.

Back then, an employer could decide to not hire someone for whatever reason they chose.

Well, he was ousted from Apple, not fired. Its important to note that Apple has only been profitable with him at the wheel. I'd much rather work for a jerk that makes me rich than a nice guy who's business fails.

Laws and Society were different back then, people were less sue happy, there was no internet or forums to share massive amounts of info, corporations were considered with the likes of god since once you got a job with a corporation you were set for life with no worries about losing your job unless you did your job terribly.

Pirates of Silicon Valley (1999) is a... Pirates of Silicon Valley (1999) is an unauthorized made-for-television docudrama written and directed by Martyn Burke. Based upon the book, Fire in the Valley: The Making of The Personal Computer, by Paul Freiberger and Michael Swaine, this film documents the rise of the home computer/personal computer through the rivalry between Apple Computer (Apple II and the Apple Macintosh) and Microsoft (DOS, IBM PC, and Windows).

The central story of the film begins in the early 1970s and ends in 1985 when Steve Jobs resigned from Apple Computer. The film is also structured by a set of "book ends": it begins and ends with Jobs' return to Apple in 1997.
