Project facts. Mid-size passenger vessels, intended for cruises on rivers
with the limited depth. The project included single, double and 4-bed cabins,
equipped with personal WCs, "luxe" cabins, restaurant, bar, saloons,
cinema, sauna. Air condition system was installed.
Serial building. Since 1984 till 1986 5 units were built. The ships
were named after the well-known russian poets.
Designations. Project Q-065, type "Sergey Esenin".
Distribution. The ships were delivered to the shipping companies: Moscow,
Lena, Ob-Irtysh (later also transferred to Lena Shipping Company). At present
one ship is operated, as a rule, on cruise line between Moscow and Saint Petersburg
(Volga-Balt waterway, Ladoga and Onega lakes); two ships are used on Lena cruise
routes; two others are operated as floating hotels and party centers in Moscow.
Modernizations. Since 90's some ships are undergoing regular renovations
to increase the comfort for the passengers.
