Perc Tucker Regional Gallery, Townsville, is located in one of Townsville’s finest heritage buildings, on the corner of Denham Street and Flinders Mall, in the city centre.

Perc Tucker Regional Gallery has an active membership program. Benefits include personal invitations to Gallery exhibition openings, artists talks, lectures, workshops, artistic performances, public programs and Gallery activities held throughout the year as well as complimentary subscription to the quarterly Membership Newsletter.

The Gallery has a dynamic art class program for children and adults. Catering for all ages, the program includes Art Tasters (adults), VIVA! Venturing into Visual Arts (8 -15years), Play Art (children 4 – 7years), and Art Attack (children’s holiday program). The art classes are conducted by local artists and give people of all ages the chance to explore their creativity and develop new artistic skills.

The Gallery operates a volunteer program. Volunteers staff the reception desk during opening hours and can elect to assist with installation and demounting of exhibitions.

The Gallery has a ground floor and first floor level with five exhibition spaces. On display are works by north Queensland artists as well as national and international touring exhibitions. Group exhibition tours are available upon request, prior booking is essential.
