From the "hip-hop music" thread:

I have been a fan of hip hop since the 1980's, back then the artists were understandable and beats much cleaner.  Now it seems like anyone that looks "tough" and can rhyme a word or two every now and then within a song gets a deal.  How many songs can you have talking about the same three things, how much money you got, how tough it is in your "hood" and how many women you have disrespected?  Sooner or later, that well is going to run dry...or has it already?
