Emma Peters Sasha Behar
Emma and KatieThe boss of Eden is the lone voice of reason in the office. As the oldest person in the office, and as editor, she feels responsible for keeping the team together. Although she’s good friends with features writer Katie, she’s also her boss and doesn’t take any nonsense from her staff.

Emma faces the classic dilemma of many professional women in their thirties - whether or not she can juggle a career with having children. She’s happily married and successful at work - but her life is about to change forever.

SashaLanding the part of Emma saw Sasha make a meteoric rise in journalism. Just before she was offered the role, she signed up for a journalism course in London. "I went from trainee to magazine editor in a matter of weeks!"

The 32 year-old London-born actress, who previously appeared in North Square is a keen consumer of magazines. "I read them for gossip and light relief, but also to get some sense of how people are living their lives in a world with less and less sense of a moral framework." So what would Emma’s ideal magazine article be about? "How do people make the transition from their twenties to their thirties, and how they balance careers and families."
