3/1: Boortz debuts at No. 2 (UPDATED)

Blame it on Obama.

boortz%20book.jpg

Neal Boortz’s latest tome “Somebody’s Gotta Say It” will land at No. 2 on the next New York Times non-fiction bestseller list dated March 11, 2007, according to WSB-AM programmer Pete Spriggs. Due to pre-orders, his book actually popped in at No. 29 on the list dated March 4, 2007.

The current book by Barack Obama (“Audacity of Hope”) prevented the local syndicated talk show host from debuting at No. 1 like his last book “The Fair Tax Book.”

Wow boortz wrote a book. I never heard about it, much. Maybe now he can get back to being entertaining instead of boortzing us with this book talk. I can’t wait until he retires so I can go back to listening to music.

So far, an interesting book. Mostly the same stuff he has said on the radio for 40 years.

Lots of good points and funny ancedotes.

Great an Obamination book about him and his Church of Black People. Hannity did a church search-the one Obama belongs to-everything is about Black people. If Obama gets in, Robert Mugabe may be the VP.We don’t need Jackson and Sharpton in the White House either or in an appointed position. They might make white people personal property.

I don’t know what is worse: If Neal Adolph Boortz (his middle name bestowed upon him in April 1945) is actually sincere about the hateful claptrap he spews, or if his venomous rants are all part of his radio act. For his sake, as he is a putative human being, one hopes that the latter is true. For then, Boortz would be merely a hypocrite, instead of a raving lunatic. I suspect this is true, relegating Boortz to the status of pimp, a shill for various half-baked ideas, in which he does not really believe. But, they generate income for him by seducing a group of people already inclined to think his way to give them a public voice for his hateful drivel. why anyone who is not already a myrmidon would spend money on this haphazard collection of his “thoughts” is incomprehensible. (And, no, for the record, I am not a liberal Disgusting pimps like N. Aldolph Boortz just, well, disgust me.)

Hey Marie,

don’t waste you’re time asking War Eagle what they mean. I think the post says enough.

What’s sad is all the men & women who have given there lives over the years fighting wars at home and abroad so bigoted racists like that have the right to spew their hate.

It disgusts me, but hey that’s why we are America.

Neal has become boring as ever and I am tired of hearing him yadda-yadda-yadda about his damn book all the time. You were hired to do a talk show, not try to be Hemingway, and you don’t have the intelligence to do so.

Hey Royal Belinda, does your name imply your head is up your you know what. If not, your response sure does. Boortz is just giving a voice to the many con- servatives who are turned off by the liberal, opinionated mass media. Using big words does not mean you are correct. The popularity of conservative radio talk (and the bankruptcy of Air America) shows there are many in this country who are not represented by news outlets who would rather give their opinion than hard news. And yes, Boortz gives his opinion, but he does not try and pass it off as news.

It seems that Mr. Boortz wants this country to adopt the same type of “freedom” we see in totalitarian regimes in South America. You know very little government interference or regulations, wealth concentrated in the hands of few, and total freedom for the wealthy.

If the book is anything like his radio show, it would be nothing more than stuff he has read on the Internet.

Boortz is just another idiot part of the lazy, corporate, conservative media…. from the radio giants to CNN, Viacom, Universal, the Times, the Post and of course Fox.

The popularity of such idiots simply demonstrates that the dumbing down of America continues.

Somebody is lying.

From NYT’s Best Seller List, 3/1/2007 to be published in 3/4/2007 paper, hardcover non-fiction:

29 SOMEBODY’S GOTTA SAY IT, by Neal Boortz (HarperCollins)

That is pathetic! Number 29!

I am not up to date on the current best sellers and have not been able to listen to Neal’s show for a while. When I saw he had a new book published I decided to see what people had to say about it by reading their comments. Well, all the comments did for me was let me know that there are a lot of anti-Boortz people out there that used the comments section as a means to bash Neal.
It would be interesting to know how it that, those people who dispise Neal, have so much more knowledge about him than his real fans? Hmmmmmmmmmm

Wow. You should put down the thesaurus and work on your syntax. I get the sense you don’t like Boortz. Beyond that, I’m confused.

Boortz’s book coming in at #2 on NYT Best Seller List.

Apparently, his points resonate with thousands of Americans.

The public is growing weary of this era of excessive “political correctness”.

If you think the Times is conservative, you need to start reading the People’s Daily.

This article is full of it or way out of date. Boortz’s book is #29 on the NYT list so either it never was at #2 or it didn’t stay for long. How long has Obama’s book been up there?

Remember everyone, the radio is just like the television. If you don’t like what you are listening to or watching you can: 1. change the staion/channel or 2. turn the thing off and read a book, take a walk, play with your children, find a new hobby or maybe go to church.

I don’t know about Mr. Neal Adolph Boortz book but every one should read Mr. Lynch’s book “Who Killed Mommy?” Out of ten I’ll give it an eight. It’s the real story of the injustice that happened to him in Dekalb County. Check out his site at www.kllundypublishingllc.com

The Gipper said, “There is nothing so permanent as a temporary [social] government program.”

I say, “There is nothing so guaranteed to bring out imbicilic liberalism than to say something politically incorrect that might offend someone.” [sniff, whine, whimper]

And these “great thinkers” on the left call right-wingers the facist nazi thought police? Puh-leeze.

Read,

Don’t ever ask liberals to pay attention to the details and read the entire column. The attention-challenged and over-emotioned liberal simpletons among us only read the headline and the first paragraph of anything regarding a right-winger.

Wingnut shows like Boortz demonstrate on a daily level a lack of depth on any topic, and amazing distortions for their extreme bias.

Of course to make it appealing to their listeners… in fact for them to have listeners, these idiots take issues to a grade school level.

Serious books are available to discuss anything that they cartoonishly tackle.

*”As it states the book will debut at #2 on the NEXT NYT best seller list for non-fiction.

Perhaps a few people should then go look up the word “debut.” Its debut was at #29. This coming weekend the NYT’s will list it at #29. Now maybe 10 days from now it will be at #2. It did not debut at #2.

“For all those who are writing comment about the Boortz’s book rank on the NYT best seller list….please READ the small aricle before the comment section.”

And please be sure to look up the words you do not understand before commenting.

I am reading the book and find it very interesting and a fun read. How many of you knew that the pledge of allegiance was written by a flag salesman who was a socialist?

I like what he has to say because this country was not founded on the “common good” and my child is going to learn that being an individual is a good thing. (And he doesn’t have to give his stuff to anybody just because they don’t have any….they should earn it)
