Worsted Weight Cotton

Stitches used:

2dc cluster: * YO, insert hook in next stitch, YO, draw yarn through one loop, yarn over, draw through 2 loops on hook **, repeat from * to ** .

3 dc cluster: * YO, insert hook in next stitch, YO, draw yarn through one loop, yarn over, draw through 2 loops on hook **, repeat from * to ** twice.

Crab stitch:sc in each, going from left to right.

MAKE TWO:

With varigated color, ch4, sl st to join, ch 1

Rnd1:10 sc in ring, sl st to join, ch3 (count as first dc)

Rnd2: (3 dc cluster, ch1) in each sc, join, (10 3dc clusters, 10 ch1 spaces) made

Rnd3: sl st in previous ch1 space, ch3 (count as first dc) (2 dc cluster, ch1)twice in each ch1 space, join, (20 2dc clusters, 20 ch1 spaces) made

Rnd4: sl st in previous ch1 space, ch3 (count as first dc) (3 dc cluster, ch1) in each ch1 space, join, (20 3dc clusters, 20 ch1 spaces) made

Rnd5: sl st in previous ch1 space, ch3 (count as first dc) (3 dc, ch1) in each ch1 space, join, cut thread (20 groups of 3dc, 20 ch1 spaces) made

Rnd6: Attach solid color in ch1 space, ch3 (count as first dc) (dc in dc, dc in ch1 space) around, join  

Rnd7: Ch3 (count as first dc) dc around  

Rnd8: ch 3, dc in same st as joining, * ( 5 dc, 2dc in same dc) 4 times, turn  

Rnd9: ch 3, dc in same st as joining, * ( 5 dc, 2dc in same dc) until end Finish off, weave in end.

Put the two pices together, wrong sides inside.

Edging:

Join varigated in corner A (look at graph) going down with crab stitches, crab stith into first 8 dc  

Handle: ch 12, sc in B, turn sc 7 st on first 7 ch of ch12 *ch 3, sc in 3rd sc at the right (sc in ch of ch) 3 time, (sc in next ch of ch12) 3 times ** Repeat form * to ** sc to the end of ch12, turn First handle is done  

Crab stitch around but stop 8 dc before D ( see graph )

Second handle:ch 12, sc in C, turn sc 7 st on first 7 ch of ch12 *ch 3, sc in 3rd sc at the right (sc in ch of ch) 3 time, (sc in next ch of ch12) 3 times ** Repeat form * to ** sc to the end of ch12, turn Second handle is done

Continue with crab stitch to end. finish off, weave in ends.
