Wonderful Job
Tommy (from Los Angeles, CA):
Very funny. It is very hard to get the timing right in a comedy (especially such a short one), but you did it admirably. Well done.

That was so very well done.
I laughed out loud 3 or 4 different times.

Funny, insightful
Alex (from Bristol, UK):
Good timing and right on the mark

simple idea, well executed
David (from Bristol, UK):
Not the most original concept for a film, but the idea is nicely compressed into a series of cleverly conceived sketches performed with impeccable comedy timing - most couples would have been there sometime in their lives!

LMAO
Alejandro (from Santiago, Chile):
The How To Tell When A Relationship Is Over film is absolutely great. I laughed my ass off and totally got the idea that stuff is much more simple than we think it is.
Congratulations.

criteria for a successful short
Paul (from London):
In under 90 seconds this made me laugh about 4 times which is three times more than many 90 minute long films. What more can you ask for for?

Well done
Suho (from Korea):
A funny film. I especially liked the French film part, not to mention the dead pigeon thrown in for good measure. Sound and picture are both very nice.

Nice and tidy
NSOV (from Warwickshire):
I recognise these from the BBC New Comedy Sketch Writer's award… They did a good job then and an admirable job here. Not all of it worked and it was effortlessly simple, but funny nonetheless. ‘That's just the index'… …Inspired…

Scary Movie or Friends?
Thoma (from La Rochelle):
Scary Movie or Friends? This film is funny. I like it.

Excellent
an anonymous reviewer:
This film is funny, has a good plot, great sound quality, and doesn't take itself too seriously.

I wanted 91 seconds
Andrew (from Connecticut, USA):
What ill-fated couple has NOT listlessly prodded the dead pigeoneous remains of their relationship? Eh? What couple, eh? Well, there AREN'T any! Brilliant film, even if it does pander to gay heterosexuals.

Really Wonderful!
Geenie Weenie (from London, UK):
This is wonderfully made, funny and just a little bit bizarre. Even then, it's something everyone can relate to - we've all been there a million times, right?!

lovely
paul (from uk):
A really nice collection of sketches put together for the 90 comp. Deserves top three, look forward to seeing the full 6min film at the festival

how to tell, watch it.
over boy (from midlands):
Fantastic, leaving aside the content which is hilarious. It shouts of professionalism. The acting and the script is first rate. My top choice perhaps followed by the horse one.

absolutely great

The List of Reasons This Was Fun
Elizabeth Anne (from Orlando, FL USA):
Hilarious examples of the title's scenario, all of which were ridiculously over the top except for the last one. When it's done it's done. Who cannot relate? (Well, not everyone has experienced the dead pigeon scenario..) Good execution of ideas in performance and edit. Great compositions in that one kitchen setting, never really stagnant. My visual seemed to shake in the download, but that looked cool in captions (not sure if intentional quiver). Not fully original, but an impressive style.

Beautiful!
Leon (from Singapore):
This film was brilliant! Subtle, funny, great dead-pan/witty humour! BRILLIANT =)

Absolutely Hilarious
Jesse Isaacs (from Indiana, US):
Having been through and seen relationships like this, I found the short to be a great and hilarious way of explaining the facts. Enjoyed immensely. Congratulations!
