Lady Aribeth de Tylmarande's Armor from the original NWN and
Valsharess' Armor from the Hordes of Underdark.
Currently supports human, elf, half elf, halfling and plane-touched
Enjoy!
Note: Modified from Zylch000's base model, so thanks for that.
Version Changes
1.0
512 x 512 texture (the edges are pointy, not published)
1.1
Reworked as 1024 x 1024 texture
1.2
Added some details to the armor (1st release)
1.3
Added missing UTIs
2.0
Got comments about blocky normals from Kolompy, turns out to be caused by
the enlargement of the Zylch000's 512 x 512 texture. Blurred the
naked part of the Normal Map, hopefully it will improve the
graphics for people using high resolution.
2.1
Aribeth
Added more details to the chain mail (Smaller/finer rings)
Lightened the color of the chain mail in the tint map
Tuned the stomach plate
Valsharess
Provided alternative tint map (P_HHF_PF_Body97_T), replace the 2.0 tint if you prefer the new tint
2.0 (Old) Tint:
Color 1: Skin (should leave it white)
Color 2: Main body and barbs surrounding the armor
Color 3: A diamond-shaped area on the belly (as in the original armor)
Necklace and the spider on the breast are not tintable (fixated as silver)
2.1 (New) Tint:
Color 1: Skin (should leave it white)
Color 2: Main body
Color 3: Necklace, spider and barbs surrounding the armor

If you downloaded the Hak pack
Unzip the content, run the toolset and create a new module
On the menu bar, click View then Module Properties
Under Module Property Tab double click Hak under Misc
Click Add to create a new hak entry
Click on the new entry and then browse for the Hak file
Click OK
My Hak Packs use DDS
Override location
C:\Documents and Settings\[Your User Name]\My Documents\Neverwinter Nights 2\Override OR
C:\Program Files\Atari\Neverwinter Nights 2\Override OR
Where you installed the game
Difference between TGA and DDS texture
TGA:
No compression
Better visual quality, may decrease performance in some machine (slower)
Can be edited by most image software like photoshop
The game will only read the TGA version if both TGA and DDS are placed into override
DDS:
Compressed
Should run faster
Usage
Create a mod and create an armor with appearance Full Plate 96, 97, 98 and do whatever you want to do OR
Enter the following cheat code inside the game to get the armor (Case senstive)
DebugMode 1
giveitem armor_custom_pf_96 (Valsharess' Armor, Adamantine Breast Plate)
giveitem armor_custom_pf_98 (Aribeth's Paladin Armor, Mithril Full Plate)
giveitem armor_custom_pf_97 (Aribeth's Blackguard Armor, Adamantine Full Plate)
DebugMode 0
Put "## " infront of each line of cheat code if you are playing European version
Known issues
Helm, Boots and gloves problem
I did not make nor include any boots and gloves in my mod. My armors (UTI ones) use the offical default
boots (cloth 0) and naked gloves (naked 0). But you can always create your own version of the item
with the toolset.
I know that both BlueKobold and Zylch000's mod overrides the default boots and gloves (cloth 0). I
changed their boots and gloves to another number becase they are causing problems (Many OC characters become bare footed and
the skin color does not match, default clothing does not get skin tinted automatically). But since I did not used the renumbered
boots and gloves, they are not included in the mod (I can post them by request).
Also If you equip any helm, cloak, boots or gloves in the inventory screen, the helm, cloak, boots and gloves provided by
the armor will be overrided by the helm, cloak, boots or gloves you just equiped.
So check the other mods you are using if you are having these problems.
Did you mean circle? In that case it is a design issue, but I will keep that in mind in future. _________________________ Elen Sila Lumenn Omemtielvo

What I meant with pregnant was the shape of the Armour, how can I explain (d... english)
If you take a look at the Original Armor (frontal) and compare it with your Version for NWN2 (which is realy great) you can see.....
It looks more like Circels in your version (e.g. the Red part of the Valshares armour) so it looks more "circel like" or round, or let me say the area looks larger and rounder and so it creats a pregnant look but only if you have a frontal view because of the Circels of the Armour it creates this perception to me.
or maybe I have to much pregnant women around me :(
But before you come over to kill me ;)
Your work is realy great (thats why I voted such a high vote) and you should keep on this great work.

An excellent piece of work that allows us to give the game a little bit of NWN 1 flavour.
The quality of the pieces is high and you've remained faithful to the originals.
I tried to reduce the pregnant look in Aribeth's armor that Dr_Sascha was talking about in 2.1. In previous releases, there was a highlight on the stomach plate which was supposed to make the armor shinny. That highlight was reduced in 2.1. There was no such highlight in Valsharess' armor, so I don't know why he think Valsharess's armor look pregnant too. Maybe it is a perception issue, like different people will percept different images from the same painting. Seehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perception for more. _________________________ Elen Sila Lumenn Omemtielvo

Always wanted to loot the valsharres armour after I killed in in hotu :) got my blackguard running aorund in aribeths blackguard armor now.
One problem though. No soles on the boots... looks weird running around with my feet being transparent from the bottom.

But even if I' still would like to see some improvments it's realy good work

So after testing Version 2.0
The blocky effect is almost gone
But to be honest the Character looks like beeing pregnant in the Aribeth armor, the same for the Valshares armor.
(frontal)
And the Necklace of the Valshares Armor looks strange on Characters with light coloured skin

seeing this as an import from NWN1, I thought that this would definitely not be all that good.
I was shocked to see it in-game though, you did a superb job. I'm giving this a ten because it did something I never thought would be done correctly. _________________________ Myth Drannor - Three Years Link
Just place the TGA in override, the game will read the TGA instead of the DDS if there is a TGA version there _________________________ Elen Sila Lumenn Omemtielvo

Where to place the TGA file? Help!

Thanks. I guess I need to keep better track of all the mods I'm using. :)
For Fu_Miga: It is ok for you to modify my work as long as you give proper credit. For Rose: European version cheat requires "## " in front of each cheat code, if you are not playing European or American version, go to <a href="www.gamefaqs.com"> Link to see if you can find to right cheat code For derangel: if you want to see the boots show on the screenshot, make sure that you not wearing any boots or using any mod that overrides the default boots _________________________ Elen Sila Lumenn Omemtielvo

Here's my vote... 9 just because of the technical issues thus far (i'll be changing my vote as soon as things get smoother).
Also, would you be ok if I altered some textures to include your work on our upcoming PW? (credits given where due of course) _________________________ ========================

First off, I think this is a beautiful mod. Second, I'm having this annoying little problem with the paladin armor having no feet. The other two have feet, just not the paladin armor. I have no idea why they don't show up. Anybody have any thoughts? I don't know anything about how these things work. :)

The hak and overrides use DDS, which should be fine for most people. If you have a high end machine, you may want to use the uncompressed version of the texture (TGA) _________________________ Elen Sila Lumenn Omemtielvo
