To combat the menacing evil of piracy, Moser Baer has announced its new range of low-priced DVDs and VCDs in the Capital. In fact an original vcd may just cost around 28 Rupees where as a DVD around 34 Rupees! That is not even a dollar if you think about it!
"I’m planning to make a collection of my parents’ old films which were only available on tape earlier. I will gift it to them,” said actress Esha Deol.
“This is phenomenal. As an artist, I’m happy that creativity, good cinema, some bad as well, will be able to reach people who have not been able to get it till now,” said actor, Rahul Bose.
“We are not competing with piracy or any other video company. Our objective is very simple: take DVD, VCD to Indian households at a price that will delight them,” said CEO of Moser Baer Entertainment Division, Harish Dayani.
