Mar 22, 2007 - Movie Previews - the Trailer Park - We have just been able to confirm that we WILL be having the Film Previews at I-CON this year as usual. Previews will be held on both Saturday AND Sunday. Please check the signs at the Information Desk at the convention for more information.

Mar 22, 2007 - Award Banquet Tickets - Award Banquet Tickets will be available at the Box Office, with a price per ticket of $30. The menu can now be found on the Awards Page.

Mar 2, 2007 - Destinies Begins Airing I-CON related content - Destinies-The Voice of Science Fiction begins 7 weeks of I-Con-related programming on March 2nd. Airing Fridays at 11:30 PM on 90.1 FM, WUSB, Stony Brook, Destinies can also be heard online at wusb.fm, and is archived at captphilonline, and at SBU IC Podcast. The schedule is as follows:

• March 2: Comedy Rapper Sudden Death recorded live at the I-Con 25 Cabaret.

Feb 2, 2006 - Memorial Fundraiser - A fundraiser in memorial of Johnny Madonia, the son of a long time I-CON staffer, is being held to benefit the Child Life Program at Stony Brook University Hospital which helps to ease the stay of children in the hospital via entertainment and help them adjust to returning to school after leaving the hospital. Jan 12, 2006 - QuestCon "Game Day" - On January 28, 2006 at 6:00pm, QuestCon will present, "Game Day" at Neutral Ground in Manhattan. A FREE gaming event including Zombies, Nuclear War, Axis & Allies and Pirates! Everyone is welcome to come down and participate, and free memberships to QuestCon will be given out.

Sep 28, 2005 - Marc Gunn Concert - Fans of Irish music will be interested to hear that Marc Gunn will be doing a solo "house concert" in Lake Ronkonkonma on October 23 at 7PM to promote his new album, Irish Drinking Songs for Cat Lovers. Actually held in one fan's home, this is a great opportunity to hear some wonderful music up close and personal. Past I-CON attendees know Marc as one half of the Brobdingnagian Bards. The Bards have been frequent and popular guests at recent I-CONs and are always a treat to see in concert. Seating is limited so please reserve your seat as soon as possible.
