[ Comment ] In the RPG, the friends are presented
as both helping and opposing each other as they
grow up together. In Crystal Chronicles, you can
actually have them by your side. I am deeply grateful
to Mr Hiroshi Yamauchi who has given me the opportunity
to create this game, to the people in Nintendo for
their cooperation, and all the people and staff
at SQUARE ENIX concerned in the creation of the
game, who, it might be said, also both helped and
opposed each other. Finally, to the people who have
played Crystal Chronicles (especially those who
have bought it), thank you very much.
[ Reason for Award ] Equipped with a new mode called
Multi Play Mode, this work enables four players
to simultaneously participate in the game via Game
Boy Advance. Finished workmanship in both graphics
and music is of top quality suitable as a work
representing the year 2003 and operations fully
tuned to a controller are also smooth and nice.
With a story containing a dream, players can enjoy
the narrative feature of a role-play game to the
full. This is a game with well-balanced fusion
of all elements that deserves the Grand Prize.
