Jamie Langenbrunner scored on a breakaway at 1:55 in double overtime to give the New Jersey Devils a 3-2 win over the Ottawa Senators on Saturday night, evening the NHL Eastern Conference semifinal 1-1. The Senators rallied from a 2-0 first-period deficit, dominating play in the next two periods with Dany Heatley getting the equalizer with 27 seconds left in regulation. The series moves to Ottawa for games Monday and Wednesday.

Wings strike late, even series with Sharks

The Detroit Red Wings have new life. Pavel Datsyuk's goal with 1:24 remaining gave them a come-from-behind 3-2 victory over the San Jose Sharks on Saturday, tying the NHL Western Conference semifinal series 1-1.

Ruff fined by NHL for outburst

Head coach Lindy Ruff of the Buffalo Sabres has been fined an undisclosed amount by the NHL for his tirade at the end of Friday night's 3-2 win over the New York Rangers in Game 2 of their Eastern Conference semifinal.
