Leafs' Colaiacovo undergoes knee surgery

Toronto Maple Leafs defenceman Carlo Colaiacovo underwent successful knee arthroscopy surgery Sunday in Toronto.

Colaiacovo, 24, is expected to begin his rehabilitation from the surgery in two weeks.

He appeared in 48 games for the Maple Leafs in 2006-07 and collected eight goals, nine assists, 22 penalty minutes, and was plus-5.

Colaiacovo, a first-round pick of the Maple Leafs in 2001, will be a restricted free agent this summer.
