Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson cozy up

Things are going strong between Ashlee Simpson and her new boyfriend, Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz. The pair made a public appearance at the opening of Pete’s new NYC bar, Angels & Kings on April 30 where they showed they’re no strangers to PDA.
According to a source for Star magazine, "They were completely absorbed with one another. Ashlee kept stroking Pete's hair and whispering into his ear. They made a small effort to talk to their friends sitting at the table with them."
At one point, says the witness, "Pete whispered something into Ashlee's ear. She smiled and they both got up and went into the bathroom together. They were in there for about 10 minutes."
Whatever she and Pete were doing together in the bathroom, Ashlee’s fun for the evening ended there. She was later seen apparently sick from drinking scotch on the rocks with her beau all night. An onlooker told Us Weekly, “She was a little wobbly.” But Pete was a gentleman and came to Ashlee’s rescue. When a reporter attempted to interview him about his nightspot, the rocker said, “Hey, man, I’ve got a sick girl. Can we do this fast?”
