2007 TUC Learning Rep award
The TUC wants to demonstrate and acknowledge the range of work currently undertaken by lay union representatives on behalf of their members and the community. For the fifth year, the TUC will be making an award to the trade unionist who represents the most positive aspects of being a learning representative. This is not intended to be a competitive award, and the TUC is keen to develop this award over the coming years. The award will be made at the 2007 Congress, which takes place in Brighton from 10-13 September.
Unions may submit as many nominations for this award as they wish, but each nomination must be signed by the union's general secretary. Please complete this form and submit it to the TUC by the deadline of Friday, 25 May 2007 (the address is at the end). Please complete the form in typescript or black ink so that we can photocopy it. Forms submitted without a completed equality monitoring page will not be accepted, but that page is for monitoring purposes only and will be detached from the form before judging takes place. Please obtain the consent of the person being nominated before submitting this form - they must sign the waiver on the equality monitoring page, which they should fill in themselves. The TUC's decision about any aspect of this award is final.
