Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide is set to re-launch its Four Points brand with the upcoming opening of two new Four Points hotels in Dubai.
The Four Points by Sheraton, Sheikh Zayed Road, will be housed in a multi-story glass and steel building with 43 floors and is due to open in mid-2007. It will offer 406 guest rooms, six meeting rooms, an all-day-dining outlet with three different themes, a lobby bar/lounge and a fitness centre with pool facilities.
The Four Points by Sheraton Downtown Dubai will also open in mid-2007 in the Golden Sands area of Dubai.
A newly built property featuring 252 "oversized rooms", the hotel will cater to the business and family markets, according to Starwood.
"Four Points by Sheraton provides good, honest value. " said Sandy Swider, vice president, Four Points by Sheraton. The Downtown Dubai property was "designed with the Middle Eastern traveller in mind", he added.
Both hotels are owned by Golden Sands Hotels LLC, a subsidiary of the Arenco Group, a Dubai-based company with diverse interests in real estate, including hotels. Caption: The Four Points by Sheraton, Sheikh Zayed Road, will offer 406 guest rooms.
