"I was at the game on December 13, when Sidney Crosby sscored six points against Philadelphia to take over the NHL scoring lead. It was a spectacular night for hockey, not just in Pittsburgh, but for all the young players who want to be like Sid. You name it, he did it that night. Puck domination, taking hits, beating up on Derian Hatcher, going hard to the net, exposing Philadelphia's flaws. Crosby was a one-man wreching machine. He had a chance to break an all-time record, but coach Michel Therrien didn't play him much in the third period."

Pittsburgh Penguins superstar Sidney Crosby became the youngest player ever (19 years 244 days) to win the Art Ross Trophy, while Tampa's Vincent Lecavalier won the Rocket Richard Trophy.
