First Nation Student Club student exchange with Monument Valley High School (Navajo Reserve) takes place during spring break.

First Nations Family Night November 30, 2006, May 10, 2007. 400+ families attend each of these dinners on an annual basis.

Accounting students participate in Stock Market Game run by Wilfred Laurier University where students manage a $100,000 stock portfolio on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Templeton Leos Club surpasses 150 members continuing its reign as the largest Leos club on the planet Earth!

History 12 students excel in provincial exams. Two students, Sarah McSkimming and Jake Kwan score 95% on their final exam!

Vivian Kung, Templeton alumni, lawyer, recognized as top UBC law student and one of British Columbia’s top ‘up and comers’ as identified by the Vancouver Sun newspaper.

Evan Crowe, Templeton alumni and film student, has his film ‘Starlight Tour’ accepted into and shown at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Lisa Pham and Becky Stewart have their film ‘People’ selected from a field of 1,000 entries as winners of the Canadian International Development Agency film competition. Both students as well as film teacher Mr. Nick Akrap are flown to Kenya as youth ambassadors for Canada to show their work.

Student Geoff Doerkson wins the Gold Medal in the BC Skills Competition for culinary arts, then snaps up the silver medal in baking at the National Skills Competition hosted in New Brunswick.

Several film, television and commercial shoots take place at Templeton as Smallville wraps up its four year run using Templeton as the home school of the television series "Smallville".

Jr. Boys win city soccer championships, Sr. Boys Volleyball make it to the B.C.s.

Templeton students win the 2006 BC envirothon competition and go on to Canon envirothon 2006 to represent BC in July. They compete against 52 teams from the US and Canada each representing their states or provinces.
 
Jessica Huang achieves a perfect score in the 2006 grade 8 Gauss mathematics competition. 

First year calculus rankings from U.B.C. place Templeton third overall in 2006.
