Welcoming New Members
RTNDA, the world's largest and only professional organization exclusively serving the electronic news profession, is made up of more than 3,000 news directors, news associates, educators and students. Founded as a grassroots organization in 1946, its purpose was to set standards of news gathering and reporting. Although news techniques and technologies have changed since the early years of its founding, RTNDA's commitment to encouraging excellence in the electronic journalism industry remains the same.
