Air Group 16: We Came to Remember

Sunday, May 27, 9:30 p.m. ET- See the story of the last reunion of Air Group 16 - the pilots, radiomen and gunners who served on the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Lexington in the Pacific in World War II. The film follows the veterans and their families as they make the journey by train, plane and car to Washington, DC, for their final reunion at the dedication of the National World War II Memorial in May 2004. The air group tells their stories, remembers their fallen comrades and accepts official honors from the country they served.

The Beach Boys Endless Harmony

Saturday, June 2, 9:30-11 p.m. ET - This special takes viewers back to the era of "Fun, Fun, Fun" with the group's best TV and concert appearances from 1963-67 showcasing timeless hits including "Wouldn't It Be Nice," "Surfin' USA," "California Girls" and "Good Vibrations." Extended interviews segments with original members Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine and the late Carl and Dennis Wilson provide the story behind the songs. The interviews shed light on the Beach Boys incredible success in the early '60s and subsequent troubled waters as band members began to pursue different creative paths. Also included are reflections from peers, latter-day musicians and rare promotional videos.
