Bridge the Gap Charity Walk 2007

This year’s Bridge the Gap Charity Walk will take place on 9th September 2007 from 9.30am, starting from Jesus Green, Cambridge. Already an established event in the Cambridge calendar, this 4 and a half mile walk will take walkers through the city of Cambridge, offering a unique opportunity to explore the college grounds and bridges.

CAMBRIDGE'S colleges were bathed in sunshine as more than 1,500 people stepped out for the News' annual Bridge the Gap walk. Since the event was launched four years ago, Bridge the Gap has raised £125,000 for charity. And the cash will be rolling in again after the huge recent turnout.

MORE than 1,000 people have signed up for Bridge the Gap - the News'annual charity walk through Cambridge.

Hospice at Home Appeal launched

The vital Hospice at Home teams can only be saved with YOUR help - and every little bit helps, from pennies to pounds. If you've got a great idea for a fundraising event, we pledge to give it publicity to make it a resounding success - and all donors will be included in a roll of honour to be printed in the News at the end of the appeal.
