However, I almost always give permission to fan sites of the particular game/series. If you are one of them, please E-Mail and ask. As for other general sites, as long as you aren't one of the thieves(namely Cheat CC), it's also likely for me to give you permission if you E-Mail and ask. As for which site is good and bad, check out Michael Sarich's FAQ Theft Guide: http://boards.gamefaqs.com/gfaqs/genmessage.php?board=2000094&topic=20885654 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yes, there are lowlifes that are worse than thieves like Cheat CC. Just to make few dollars, there are users on EBay STOLE & SOLD FAQs that can be found on GameFAQs. Unfortunately, such ridiculous and outrageous action is still active in EBay. However, that doesn't mean we can't do anything. As CJayC suggests, the right way to stop these people is to hit them in the pocketbook(boot them off of EBay, ruin their auctions...etc). To start things off, send something called the Notice of Claimed Infringement to EBay: http://pages.ebay.com/help/community/NOCI1.pdf (You need Adobe Acrobat Reader) Sign and send it back to EBay by Fax at (408)516-8811. As for those that try to get away with 'Fair Use', that's just laughable. That is only applicable when it's not being fairly used for profit. Please don't go throwing around legal rhetoric when you don't even know what it means. Further, do not think that you can get away by just deleting these warnings. Due to your obvious Copy&Paste, getting proof of Copyright Infringement will be beyond easy. Besides, I already embedded messages within this document which will definitely be apparent if someone does decide to steal the majority of the document. Lastly, heavy warnings for foreign publishers. DO NOT think that you can just translate my work then get away with it. I WILL NOT tolerate these actions either. If you intend to publish any of my work, you will NEED to consult with me. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This FAQ/Walkthrough is solely based on the Japanese version of Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix Plus, an RPG made by Square Enix & Buena Vista Games. Since this is based on the Japanese version only and I don't buy or play any English version of any game, so please use this FAQ/Walkthrough at your own discretion. If you are playing the Japanese version, then I will assume you know kana and at least the basic of Japanese. I'll ignore all questions due to the fact that you can't read any Japanese. Also, I don't put any Japanese in any of my FAQ so it will never be in Shift-JIS or EUC format. Lastly, I no longer do any story based FAQ/Walkthrough, so refrain from asking that. However, I don't mind any specific story question if you are really stuck, likewise with any gameplay related question, as long as you know kana and the basic. This just can't be said enough: Please learn some kana and the basic. The game will prompt you to select a Mode: Beginner, Standard, Proud and Critical. Next, it's the Vibration: On or Off. Further, it is the Sound Type: Stereo, Pro Logic II or Mono. At the end, just confirm it. *Critical Mode Bonus* - 50 AP - Reaction Up, Finish Plus, Draw, Luck Up, Luck Up, MP Hastera, EXP Zero ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- \\Day 1// --------- The 1st Day, you will gain control of Roxas. Head toward the Armor Shop. Next, head up to the Accessory Shop and press Triangle. Lastly, use R1 to Log-On that cat. Afterward, you will need to pick a Weapon: Struggle Sword(Right, ATK+1), Struggle Paddle(Middle, DEF+1) or Struggle Wand(Left, MAG+1). ------------- Enemy: Seifer Log-On then circle around him. Attack when you see an opening. If he jumps up and attempt to thrust down, avoid then attack from his back. ------------- After, you will be in The Woods. Chase after that Dusk. Before The Old Mansion, get near the Dusk and press Triangle. ----------- Enemy: Dusk Log-On and circle around to avoid it. The Reaction Command here is the Slide Turn. Use it to get to the Dusk's back. If it gets near, jump away. Attack it even though you can't inflict any damage. Roxas will get the Key Blade soon. With that, you can damage it. Attack, attack and Slide Turn then repeat. ----------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- \\Day 2// --------- The 2nd Day, you can save your game now. To do so, stand on the Save Point and press Triangle. You'll get the Twilight Town Map. Nearby is a skateboard and you can ride it to get to the north of the map. For some part-time jobs, check the near Bulletin Board with Triangle. The ones you can take are: Letter Delivery, Luggage Transfer and Performance. The Letter Delivery is rather simple. You'll be riding the skateboard and just go on the path. Whenever you see a person, prepare to press Triangle. Aside the 3 person, there are also 2 birds. Some bird can be pretty high, just be sure to jump and press Triangle quickly. If you clear it in under 20 seconds, then you get 50 Munny. If you clear it in under 1 minute, then you get 30 Munny. If you clear it in more than 1 minute, then you get 10 Munny. As for Luggage Transfer, just attack the bag/cart up to the garage. When the bag/cart got knocked into the air, jump and attack it. If you clear it in under 30 seconds, then you get 50 Munny. If you clear it in under 1 minute, then you get 30 Munny. If you clear it in more than 1 minute, then you get 10 Munny. As for Performance, just juggle the ball by attacking it. Log-On it then have it in air. Get under it then start attacking. Roxas will jump up & attack it. You can also jump up yourself. If you got 20 or above hits, then you get 50 Munny. If you got 5 to 19 hits, then you get 30 Munny. If you got 4 or less hits, then you get 10 Munny. If you want more jobs, head to the Tram Common. You can also skate around here if you like. Anyway, for the Bulletin Board here, there are Poster Pasting, Bee Extermination and Junk Cleaning. First up, Poster Pasting. Just explore around and paste posters. Look out for the spots and move around the camera to look around. Use Triangle to paste. If you clear it in under 1 minute and 30 seconds, then you get 100 Munny. If you clear it in under 2 minutes, then you get 50 Munny. If you clear it in more than 2 minutes, then you get 30 Munny. As for Bee Extermination, just keep attacking them and use Log-On as well. If you clear it in under 20 seconds, then you get 50 Munny. If you clear it in under 1 minute, then you get 30 Munny. If you clear it in more than 1 minute, then you get 10 Munny. Lastly, Junk Cleaning. Destroy the junks with your attacks. The key here is to not use so many attacks. Just aim it right and knock one junk to others to get rid of them all together. You can also gather them together then attack. If you clear it in under 10 attacks, then you get 50 Munny. If you clear it with 11 to 15 attacks, then you get 30 Munny. If you clear it with 16 or more attacks, then you get 10 Munny. Anyway, you only need to get more than 50 Munny. However, if you want a bonus, AP+1, your Munny amount should be between 650 to 1040. If you want a better bonus, AP+2, get more than 1040 Munny. If you have at least 2000 Munny, then the game will advance automatically after doing a job. After speaking with Hayner at the Station Plaza, you'll get the Munny Pouch. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- \\Day 3// --------- The 3rd Day, go on to north and you will get into another battle. ----------- Enemy: Dusk You can't kill them without the Key Blade but attack anyway. Seifer, Fuu and Rai will take care of 2, so that leaves 1 to you. ----------- You will be in Dive To Heart. You can pick between Staff, Sword and Shield. Of course, anyone that has played the first Kingdom Hearts SHOULD remember this. This should work the same way as in Kingdom Hearts, so this affects the order of abilities that Sora learns at Level Up. ------------- Enemy: Dusk*3 Bonus: Air Recovery Same old method from before: attack, attack and Slide Turn. ------------- After, check the item box for a Potion. Save your game and take the door. Move on up and you can fight more Dusk on the way. Get another item box on the way and it's a Potion. At the end, another door and beyond that is a fight. ------------------------------- Enemy: Twilight Thorn+Creeper*5 HP: 300 Reaction Command: Key Counter, Moon Sault, Break Raid, Slide Turn Bonus: HP+5, Reflect Guard The screen will turn white and you will end up being held in air. Keep pressing Triangle to prepare for the Reaction Command. Next, the platform will tilt then keep pressing Triangle for more Reaction Command. When it's down, do attack it. Now, once it comes back up, it's crazy Triangle+ Attack time. Not all its attacks are Reaction Command based, so do jump and avoid when needed. ------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- \\Day 4// --------- The 4th Day, time for Struggle Battle. Talk to the Official near the board for the rules. Be sure to check out the Station Heights since the Item Shop opens up now and you can practice with Seifer at the Back Alley as well. Anyway, once you are ready, speak with the Referee at the center of the Sandlot. ------------- Enemy: Hayner Simple concept here: attack the enemy and get their Prize Balls. Whoever got the most balls at the end of the time limit wins. Hayner is rather easy & good for you to practice with. ------------- ----------- Enemy: Vivi After you attack him, quickly move away. Most of the time, you can keep your distance and watch for an opening. This is another easy win. ----------- Afterward, more fight. ------------- Enemy: Dusk*3 Same old attack, attack and Slide Turn should kill them all easily. ------------- ----------- Enemy: Axel HP: 105 Bonus: Libra He moves and attacks pretty fast. Keep your distance and circle around him. When you see an opening, go for it. If he knees down, move away from him and get ready to jump away. You can also use this chance to attack him afterward. If you see any fire around him, stay away from him. ----------- Afterward, save your game then on to the final Struggle Battle. ------------- Enemy: Setzer Not much of a fight here. Circle around and attack him when you see an opening. Keep your distance and you can easily win this as well. ------------- Afterward, you get the Champion Belt as well as the Struggle Trophy. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- \\Day 5// --------- The 5th Day, go to the Central Station to take the train. Before anything, go back to the Central Station for Potion, Potion and Hi Potion. There is also a Save Point. At the Sunset Station, you can view the map for the locations of the Seven Mysteries by speaking with Pence. The Mysterious Stone Steps is already done as you can see. Continue down to the Sunset Terrace. Explore around for Potion, Potion, Hi Potion and Ability Ring. Ability Ring is not so obvious. You will need to get up on the train then jump toward it. In this area, you can solve another mystery: The Friend Of The Other Side Of The Wall. Get to the NE alley then check the wall at the end. Avoid the balls and check the wall again. Next, another mystery can be solved here: Another Self. Near where that Olette is, there is a mirror like waterfall at SW. Check it out for a battle. ------------------- Enemy: Shadow Roxas HP: 105 Pretty straight forward, just attack when you see an opening. ------------------- Next up, check the tunnel at north for the next mystery: The Echoed Groan In The Tunnel. Within, another battle. ------------------------- Enemy: Phantom Of Vivi*14 HP: 1 Vivi is just the same as in the Struggle Battle. However, there are fourteen of them in total, so it takes some time. ------------------------- Now, head to the Sunset Hill which is at west. Check the bag at the top of the hill for the next mystery: The Wriggling Luggage. Get near and ride on it. The rest is ride it & jump over the cans. Keep pressing Triangle should do it. After you got the above mysteries solved, back to the Sunset Hill for another one: The Enigma Of The Phantom Train. Afterward, head to the Tram Common. Skate to the east side, toward a hole in the wall that leads you to The Woods. Go through to get to The Old Mansion. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- \\Day 6// --------- The 6th & Final Day, exit out for more battle. ---------------------- Enemy: Dusk*2+Assassin Dusk isn't the problem, the new Nobody called Assassin is. Be more careful with it. Wait until it surface then attack. You could also try Reflect Guard. ---------------------- Head to The Old Mansion. Within, explore around for Potion, Potion and Hi Potion. There are 3 paths you can take here: Left of 1F, Left of 2F and Right of 2F. Left of 1F leads to Potion and Elven Bandana. In the Left of 2F, you get Namine's Sketch and The Old Mansion Map. Save your game and exit out. Time to take the Right of 2F. Go down for a Hi Potion. Go onto the Computer Room then save your game. Continue on for more fights. ------------------------ Enemy: Dusk*4+Assassin*2 The Dusk is easy to take out, just the Assassin is more deadly. Take your time and wait for them to surface. Reflect Guard also works. ------------------------ ----------- Enemy: Axel HP: 345 Reaction Command: Run Up, Clear, Burst Edge Bonus: HP+5 It's similar to the last fight and be sure to make good use of R1 to Log-On. When you are attacking, prepare for the Reaction Command with Triangle at the end. This can stun Axel and more chance for you to attack. When he jumps out of the ring, get to the center and prepare to use another Reaction Command. ----------- Afterward, continue on through the near door. Get the Hi Potion and through another door. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You'll be outside The Old Mansion, controlling Sora. For the area before that Old Mansion, there are Potion and Mythril Shard. Anyway, move on and you will end up in the Usual Spot. Save your game then exit out. On the way, there are AP Up, Orichal, Mythril Goo and Mythril Crystal. Once you are ready, toward the next area. Continue on and time for another battle. ------------- Enemy: Xemnas HP: 1500 Reaction Command: Oppose, Repel, Crush, Stop Bonus: HP Up, MP+10 Only Sora against Xemnas. When there are three crystals surrounding you, head to the bottom of the building. Use the Reaction Command. When you run up the building and about to clash with Xemnas, quickly prepare for more Reaction Command. When you are down at the bottom, head up and start slashing Xemnas. When he teleports to the other side of the battle field, chase after him. As you get near him, quickly Dash away to his side. He will mostly use a shield. When he's engulfed in darkness and moving around, just Dash away. After that, he will mostly make couple slashes. Just quickly head up and attack after he made his attacks. ------------- After, you get the Other Ansem Report 13. This is the final Save Point before you go end the game, so make sure you save. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Olympus Coliseum should have new stuff now, such as the Goddess Of Fate Cup. The last fight of it is against Hades. Once you clear it, you get the Fatal Crest. You'll also get an Orichalcon which is for making Sora's Ultima Weapon. Once you have done all Tournaments, more new stuff at Olympus Coliseum. Head to Hades' Chamber. Speak with Hades for the Other Coliseum Tournaments. First, you can enter the Other Pain&Panic Cup. The last fight in that is Yuffie and Leon. Next, if your Brave, Wisdom and Master Forms are all Level 5 or above, you can get the Other Cerberus Cup. The last fight of that is Cerberus. Thirdly, if your Summon Level is Level 5 or above, you get the Other Titan Cup and the last fight is Hercules. Lastly, when your Brave, Wisdom, Master and Final Forms got to Max Level/Level 7, as well as having Summon Level 7, you will get the final Tournament, the Other Hades Cup. The Other Hades Cup, unlike other ones, has 50 matches. Here are the special opponents: - Match 5: Volcano Lord - Match 10: Tifa, Yuffie - Match 15: Blizzard Lord - Match 20: Pete - Match 25: Cloud, Tifa - Match 30: Hades (Normal) - Match 40: Leon, Cloud - Match 48: Cerberus - Match 49: Leon, Cloud, Tifa, Yuffie - Match 50: Hades (Berserk) Afterward, you get the Hades Cup Trophy. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- First of all, you need the Ultima Recipe. It's within the Mansion: Basement Corridor of Twilight Town. You get there at the later part of the game. If you still don't know where that is, it's the area JUST BEFORE the Pod Room(which got the Pod that Sora slept in). Once you have that, speak with a Moogle Shop for Item Synthesis. The items you need to make Ultima Weapon are: - 13 Orichalcon (You only need 7 in the end) - 1 Orichal - 1 Mythril Crystal - 1 Interval Crystal - 1 Twilight Crystal - 7 Fulfilling Crystals (You only need 4 in the end) Where to get them: - Orichal: Item Boxes in Twilight Town, The Land Of Dragons, Hundred Acre Wood, Port Royal and The World That Never Was; Bulk Vendor can also drop this and it is also two Collect List Bonus - Mythril Crystal: Item Boxes in Twilight Town, Radiant Garden(Hollow Bastion), Agrabah, Hundred Acre Wood, Pride Land, Halloween Town, Port Royal, Space Paranoids and The World That Never Was; Also, you can make it. First, Moogle must be at Level 8 then you can make Mythril Gem. When you make an Mythril Gem, put in a Fulfilling Gem to make it become Mythril Crystal - Interval Crystal: Berserker drops this. Berserker shows up in Twilight Town, Mysterious Tower and The World That Never Was - Twilight Crystal: Sorcerer drops this. Sorcerer shows up in The World That Never Was - Fulfilling Crystal: Two Treasure Box in Cave Of Remembrance and the reward for clearing the Puzzle Heart. You could also make it through Synthesis(Level 8 Moogle) and it is also four Collect List Bonus Lastly, for the 13 Orichalcon, well, that can't be done. There are just about seven of them in the game. Guess what? That's JUST ENOUGH. Here are where the 7 Orichalcon are: - Clear Atlantica - Clear 100 Acre Wood - Item Box in The World That Never Was - Clear Goddess of Destiny Cup in the UnderWorld Tournament in Olympus Coliseum - Item Box in Twilight Town - Item Box in Space Paranoids - A Collect List Bonus, you MUST obtain ALL kinds of materials to get this Once you got 7 Orichalcon, 1 Orichal, 1 Mythril Crystal, 1 Interval Crystal, 1 Twilight Crystal and 4 Fulfilling Crystals, when you try to make it, apply the Swelling Crystal. The Swelling Crystal halves the materials you need. For the Swelling Crystal, it is dropped from Shaman in Pride Land and Book Master in Space Paranoids and Radiant Garden(Hollow Bastion). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- XIII Mushrooms: - Number One, Memory's Skyscraper, after beating the game - Hit it 70 or more times within 30 seconds - Use Wisdom or Final Form, Reaction Command and Shot or Combo Minus - Tranquil Series Materials - Pleasure Mushroom - 3 ATK, 9 MAG, For Donald - Pleasure Mushroom+ - 3 ATK, 9 MAG, For Donald - Precious Mushroom - 3 ATK, 9 MAG, MP Haste, For Donald - Precious Mushroom+ - 3 ATK, 9 MAG, MP Hastera, For Donald - Premium Mushroom - 3 ATK, 9 MAG, MP Hastega, For Donald Once you are ready, continue on and check the gate for the final showdown. First area, go on and use the Reaction Command Slash. Second area, go on and use Reaction Command Rise Saber and Assault Arts. Third area, a quick battle. ----------------------------- Enemy: Unit*2+Floating Main B HP: 20+100 Keep on taking out enemies then use the Reaction Command at the end. You will need to repeat this few time. ----------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- Enemy: Energy Core+Creeper*12+Assassin*5+Berserker HP: 1000 Your main goal is Energy Core but you will need to clear out the enemies when the Energy Core has barrier up. Press Triangle at the end. -------------------------------------------------- -------------------- Enemy: Xemnas(Armor) HP: 1000 Reaction Command: Wild Dance King Mickey: AVAILABLE Get near and start bashing. Jump out of the way and heal if you need to. Like wise, Sora and Riku's Co-Op move can tons of damage. Use it more often. You can also use the Reaction Command to help. -------------------- -------------------------------------------------------- Enemy: Xemnas(Dragon)+Floating Main B+Speeder B+Missiler HP: 1200/1500+100+100+100 A Gummi Ship like battle, pretty straight forward. Just use Square to use the Laser. -------------------------------------------------------- -------------------- Enemy: Xemnas(Armor) HP: 1000 Reaction Command: Ride Shot, Meteor Rain You only have Riku with you this time. You can Glide in this battle. Jump and press Square. At first, it's pretty easy. Get close and attack then jump up to avoid his sword. Once you got blown into the air, it gets annoying. He's WAY over there and throwing buildings at you, as well as lasers. Try to jump on a stationary building. Trigger the Reaction Command to break his shield. Next, quickly Glide to him and start bashing again. -------------------- ------------- FINAL: Xemnas HP: 1500 Reaction Command: Slide Turn, Defend, Rescue, Reflect Bonus: Drive Gauge+1, HP Up Keep avoiding his attacks with Reaction Command and wait for your chance. When you see an opening, head up and attack. Sora and Riku's Co-Op works fine here. When he lost enough HPs, he will catch Sora. You will be playing as Riku. Press Square to use Dark Aura. Do that, run and Dark Aura again. This is important so that Xemnas' clone doesn't get to Riku. Once you made it to the real Xemnas, trigger the Reaction Command. Once you regain control of Sora, HEAL. Head up and start attacking before he gets back up. Now, when he's low on HPs, he will use his laser move, which just have the whole area with lasers shooting at you. Triangle and Circle, don't make ANY mistake. Afterward, get near him and finish up the battle, might as well with Sora and Riku's Co-Op. ------------- After, sit back and enjoy the ending. Make the Clear Data afterward and you can override any existing file. If you load it, you will be just before the final showdown. The Jiminy Memo will also be updated. If you go back to the Memory's Skyscraper, you can find Number One of the XIII Mushrooms. Theater Mode(KH2 FM) is now available. If you've already beaten Re: Chain Of Memories(BOTH Sora and Riku), then the Theater Mode(KH2 FM) should have Japanese Voices available now. All new scenes in Final Mix don't have English Voices but they have Japanese Voices. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Once you've completed all worlds and watched the Old Secret Ending "Gathering", exit out to the World Map. Go on to get AP Up and to move on, you need to Glide then Air Dodge. Be sure to get that Puzzle Piece. You will enter a battle. After, take the side path before you take the white door. It leads to Remembrance Gem and Fulfilling Gem. Attack all three levers. Back track and take that white door. Ignore the Whirlwind for now and go on up for Fulfilling Gem. Use the Whirlwind that's above the white door. You can get two Puzzle Pieces. Anyway, make your way up for AP Up. Go on for another Puzzle Piece. Go on for Fulfilling Crystal. The white door is right there but if you look around the corner, there are Appeared Vision and Wriggling Remembrance Map. Below that, there is another Puzzle Piece. Take the white door afterward. This should be easy if you heal from time to time. ------------------ Afterward, you get the Trick Master Card. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hidden Room Treasure: Aqua Splash, Xaldin Enemies: Shadow, Large Body, Yellow Opera, Green Requiem, Air Soldier, Barrel Spider, Search Ghost, Tornado Step Normal Treasure: Fire Raid Head into the room that requires the Key Card Of Beginnings. You will get High Jump at the end. Go into the room that requires the Key Card Of Guidance. ------------------- Boss: Parasite Cage Jump close and start your combo. Try not to land on the poisonous acid. Aside from Card Break it, you can try out Fire and Stop. ------------------- After, you get the Parasite Cage Card. Head into the room that requires the Key Card To The Truth. You will fight tons of Shadow and you will get the Dumbo Card afterward. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hidden Room Treasure: Bind, Bond Of Flame Enemies: Shadow, Search Ghost, Wight Knight, Gargoyle, Creep Plant Normal Treasure: Miracle Gift After a quick fight, you will get the Stock Terror. Go into the room that requires the Key Card Of Beginnings. Next, to the room that requires the Key Card Of Guidance. Lastly, to the room that requires the Key Card To The Truth. ------------ Boss: Boogie Break a dice for chance to get the Gimmick Card. Use it & get close to attack. Once he's back to normal, move away. Repeat and you will need about three Gimmick Cards. It depends on how many Attack Cards your deck has. ------------ After, you get the Boogie Card. Save your game then move on. ------------- Boss: Larxene Card Break is important here since few of her attacks can be rather deadly. You should also try Dodge Roll to avoid. You can always try to Stock up few Cards to heal or bring more Zero Card into the fight. ------------- After, you get the Thunder Card, as well as the Atlantica, Neverland, Hollow Bastion and Hundred Acre Wood World Card. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hidden Room Treasure: Demyx, Quake Enemies: Search Ghost, Sea Neon, Screw Diver, Aqua Diver, Dark Ball Normal Treasure: Shock Impact, Homing Blizzara Go into the room that requires the Key Card Of Beginnings. Next, to the room that requires the Key Card Of Guidance. Lastly, go on to the room that requires the Key Card To The Truth. ------------ Boss: Ursula Attack her tentacles first then you can go for the face. If her tentacles drop the Gimmick Card, use it to stun her. Repeat few times to beat her. ------------ After, you get the Ursula Card. Save your game then move on. ------------------ Boss: Riku Replica Attack and use Dodge Roll more often. You can avoid his attacks then attack. Make sure you Stock up to heal so he probably won't Card Break you. ------------------ After, you get the Aero Card. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hidden Room Treasure: Thunder Raid, Follow The Wind Enemies: Shadow, Soldier, Barrel Spider, Pirate, Air Pirate, Dark Ball, Loudness Normal Treasure: Teleport You will be able to use Glide. Go into the room that requires the Key Card Of Beginnings. Next, to the room that requires the Key Card Of Guidance. Lastly, to the room that requires the Key Card To The Truth. ---------- Boss: Hook Try to Card Break a lot here, so Zero Card would help in this fight. If you don't do that, Hook will Card Break you to no end. You can always Dodge Roll around then attack after he plays out a Zero Card. If he tries to use Barrel Blast, make sure you Card Break it. If you can't do that, avoid them and the barrel can actually damage Hook as well. Have some patience and Dodge Roll around. You will beat him eventually. ---------- After, you get the Hook Card and Tink Card. Save your game then move on. ------------------ Boss: Riku Replica Attack and use Dodge Roll more often. You can avoid his attacks then attack. Make sure you Stock up to heal so he probably won't Card Break you. This is a bit harder than before. Make sure you have few Zero Card to Card Break him when necessary. If you can, use Stun Impact then Last Arcanum. ------------------ After, you get the Stock Magne Spiral. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hidden Room Treasure: Mushu, Xigbar Enemies: Shadow, Dark Ball, Defender, Wyvern, Wizard, Tornado Step Normal Treasure: Reflect Raid Go into the room that requires the Key Card Of Beginnings. Next, to the room that requires the Key Card Of Guidance. Last, to the room that requires the Key Card To The Truth. ----------------------- Boss: Maleficent Dragon Get close and attack. If it uses Firaga Breath, Glide away. Keep an eye for the Gimmick Card and use it when possible. The battle isn't hard, it just takes time. ----------------------- After, you get the Maleficent Dragon Card. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Explore around to find Piglet and press Triangle. You will get the Stock Confuse. Go on to the next area and explore to find Rabbit. Speak with Rabbit and clear Veggie Panic. Remember that Cabbage goes to the left and Pumpkin goes to the right. You will get the Stock Evil Slash Modified afterward. Go on to the next area and check the balloons to play Balloon Glider. Avoid the branches and bees then make it to the top to clear it. After, you get the Stock Firaga Burst. Next area, speak with Tigger and clear Tigger's Jump-A-Thon. You can pause and write down the button sequence if you need to. You get the Stock Paradise Stump at the end. Jump up to a cliff to find Extermination. Move on to the next area and speak with Eeyore. Check the well and clear the Whirlwind Plunge. Use the Left Stick and Square to Roll. Afterward, you get the Mega Ether. Check the tree that's behind Eeyore and clear Bumble-Rumble. Try to use Honey Storm and Honey Card more often. You can get the Elixir for this. Go on and save your game. Once you are ready, exit out. You will get the Bambi Card. ----------- Boss: Vexen Try out Fire Raid, Sonic Rave and Final Break. They work well on him. You can always run around and Dodge Roll. When you see an opening, attack. If you want to be cheap, use Strike Raid then Fire Raid. At later part, when he tries to use Ice Needle, Card Break it or run around. ----------- After, you get the Stock Freeze and Twilight Town World Card. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hidden Room Treasure: Star Dust Breeze, Roxas Enemies: Shadow, Soldier, Air Soldier, Barrel Spider Normal Treasure: Detonator Simple enough, go to the room that requires the Key Card Of Beginnings. ----------- Boss: Vexen Like before, try Fire Raid. Make sure you have Zero Card to Card Break his Ice Needle and Freeze. Other than that, use Dodge Roll often. He's about the same as before, except a bit stronger. You could always combine only Nine Card and Zero Card in your deck. That way, you can attack him and constantly breaking him. However, unlike last time, the battle goes even longer because of his HPs. ----------- After, you get the Vexen Card. Save your game and move on. ------------------ Boss: Riku Replica Use Nine, Nine and Eight Card to form Strike Raid then use Six, Zero and Zero to form Last Arcanum. In addition, put in three Cure and one Elixir. Basically, the battle will be Strike Raid then Last Arcanum. If you need to, use Curaga and Elixir. You should be able to bring him down in no time. ------------------ After, you get the Mega Potion Card and the Destiny Islands World Card. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hidden Room Treasure: Last Elixir, Photon Debugger Enemies: Shadow, Soldier, Barrel Spider, Dark Ball, Creep Plant, Tornado Step, Loudness Normal Treasure: Judgement Go into the room that requires the Key Card of Beginnings. Lastly, head to the room that requires the Key Card Of Guidance. --------------- Boss: Dark Side Stock up with Eight or Nine Cards. When he uses Dark Punch, get close and take out two Shadow. That will make the Gimmick Card show up. Jump on the rocks to attack his head. Beware of his Shock Wave, jump and Glide if you need to. If he uses Darkness Balls, Dodge Roll around. --------------- After, you get the Dark Side Card and Amulet Of Promise/Oath Keeper Card. Save your game then move on. ------------------ Boss: Riku Replica Use the strategy from the last battle with him, so use Nine, Nine and Eight Card to form Strike Raid then use Six, Zero and Zero to form Last Arcanum. In addition, put in three Cure and one Elixir. Basically, the battle will be Strike Raid then Last Arcanum. If you need to, use Curaga and Elixir. Unlike last time, he has lot more HPs which means this might last a lot longer. One more thing, make sure you Card Break his Dark Aura or else he could finish you off with that. ------------------ After, you get the Riku Card. Go up and speak with Riku Replica. ------------- Boss: Larxene You can use the same deck as the one for the last fight with Riku Replica. You can just abuse Strike Raid and Last Arcanum. You can kill her with ease. ------------- After, you get the Larxene Card and Memories Past/Oblivion Card. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hidden Room Treasure: Super Glide, Star Seeker Enemies: Shadow, Red Nocturne, Blue Rhapsody, Green Requiem, Yellow Opera, Dark Ball, Defender, Wyvern, Wizard, Neo Shadow Normal Treasure: Raising Storm You will get the Stock Trinity Limit. Go on to the room that requires the Key Card Of Beginnings. ---------- Boss: Axel Combine only Nine Card and Zero Card in your deck. That way, you can attack him and constantly Card Breaking him. If you have Cure and Potion, make sure they are Zero Card. Use Dodge Roll and Cure more often, you would eventually beat him. ---------- After, you get the Axel Card. Save your game then go on to the end. -------------- Boss: Marluxia Use the same deck you just used for Axel. Marluxia is rather weak from the beginning. Don't let him do Death Scythe, Drop Shot...etc Card Break him all the time. Keep this up and you can beat him with ease. -------------- After, you get the Marluxia Card. Before you move on, you can get new Cards: - Diamond Dust from Gimmick or Normal Treasure - One Winged Angel from Gimmick or Normal Treasure (Twilight Town) - Ultima Weapon and Lexaeus from Normal Treasure - You need to clear Reverse/Rebirth - Ansem from Normal Treasure (Twilight Town) - You need to clear Reverse/Rebirth - Zexion from Normal Treasure (Destiny Islands) - You need to clear Reverse/Rebirth Once you are ready, go on for the final showdown. ------------- Boss: Specter Try Nine+Zero+Zero to keep on using Ragnarok. Use Riku Card and Hi Potion if you wish. Keep on using Ragnarok and that should be it. He can't do much and this strategy is rather cheap. ------------- -------------------- Final Boss: Marluxia Same old cheap strategy, abuse Ragnarok. However, he can use Death Sentence. This is where you need to keep on Card Breaking him. Just do it fast and you should be fine. The most annoying attack from him is Whirlwind To The Nothingness which scatters your entire deck so you need to Dodge Roll to gather them back. At later part, get close and attack. Since you have Nine Card and Zero Card, you can constantly Card Break him. Don't bother with Ragnarok since he WILL Card Break that. -------------------- After, sit back and enjoy the ending. Make a Clear Data afterward. Theater Mode(Sora) and Reverse/Rebirth are now available. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Upon New Game, pick Sora/Riku, Beginner/Standard/Proud Mode, Vibration On/Off, Stereo/Pro Logic II/Mono and confirm it at the end. You will get the Hollow Bastion World Card. Use it at the door after saving your game. Go on to the room that requires the Key Card Of Beginnings. Next, to the room that requires the Key Card Of Guidance. Lastly, to the room that requires the Key Card To The Truth. ----------------------- Boss: Maleficent Dragon At this point, Riku can't do much besides keep on attacking. Fortunately, Maleficent Dragon is weak at this point, so this battle shouldn't be too hard. There's a Gimmick Card which creates a platform. Jump on it and you can just directly attack its head. ----------------------- After, you get the Maleficent Dragon Card. Save your game then move on. ----------- Boss: Ansem Keep on attacking and if your Card Number is the same as Ansem's Card Number, then press Triangle for Duel. Keep on Card Breaking him for Successful. That ends the battle. ----------- You will get the Agrabah, Monstro, Neverland and Traverse Town World Card. Riku is able to get into D-Mode now. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Go into the room that requires the Key Card Of Beginnings. ----------- Boss: Jafar Go after Iago and keep on attacking the lamp. When you are in D-Mode, use Dark Firaga. ----------- After, you get the Jafar Card. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Go into the room that requires the Key Card Of Beginnings. ------------------- Boss: Parasite Cage Get close and keep on attacking. Stock up to attack if you need to. ------------------- After, you get the Parasite Cage Card. Save your game then move on. ----------- Boss: Vexen Stay away and Card Break till you are in D-Mode. Use Dark Firaga to attack him. Use Holy/Inverse Burst with King Mickey when you can. You can always Stock up Cards then attack. ----------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Go into the room that requires the Key Card Of Beginnings. ---------- Boss: Hook Use the Pirate Enemy Card. Keep on Card Breaking him & when you are in D-Mode, use Dark Firaga or Dark Break. Stock up King Mickey Card in case you need to heal with MM Miracle. ---------- After, you get the Hook Card. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Go into the room that requires the Key Card Of Beginnings. ----------------- Boss: Guard Armor Card Break it and try out Holy Burst with King Mickey. Use the Gimmick Card when available. When you are in D-Mode, abuse Dark Firaga and Dark Break. ----------------- After, you get the Guard Armor Card. Save your game and move on. ------------------ Boss: Riku Replica Card Break while rolling around. Once you are in D-Mode, use Dark Firaga or Dark Break. Dark Aura also work well if you are fast enough. Otherwise, stick with Dark Firaga or Dark Break. ------------------ Go on to get the Atlantica, Olympus Coliseum, Wonderland and Halloween Town World Card. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Go into the room that requires the Key Card Of Beginnings. ------------ Boss: Ursula Your Cards are rather low, so Card Breaks aren't that friendly. Take some time and try to use the right Cards each time. You need to attack the tentacles then her face. It would be faster if you can D-Mode when you can attack her face. You can always just save up the Gimmick Card. An alternative way here is to Stock up all the low numbers so you can get them out of your deck. Once you are down with the higher numbers, don't ever Stock and just use Reload. Riku has no Reload time anyway. ------------ After, you get the Ursula Card. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Go into the room that requires the Key Card Of Beginnings. ----------- Boss: Hades Use Jafar Card and keep on attacking. Once you are in D-Mode, use Dark Firaga or Dark Break. ----------- After, you get the Hades Card. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Note: For any door with vines, destroy the purple plant(same room) first Go into the room that requires the Key Card Of Beginnings. ------------------ Boss: Trick Master Get off the table and circle around. All it does here is Earth Shake. You can easily avoid that by jumping. Your Cards are low again, so only get near and Card Break from time to time. When you are in D-Mode, repeat. Take your time and get near to Card Break when it has a Card that's lower than Five. Save the King Mickey Card for MM Miracle later. Soon, it will start using Fire. If you are in D-Mode, you can easily avoid that with Square. If the table is still around, that can even block the Fire. ------------------ After, you get the Trick Master Card. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Go into the room that requires the Key Card Of Beginnings. ------------ Boss: Boogie Attack the dice for the Gimmick Card. Use it when you are in D-Mode. Use Dark Aura to finish off Boogie. ------------ After, you get the Boogie Card. Save your game then move on. ------------- Boss: Lexaeus Circle and roll around then Card Break. Make sure you Card Break attacks like Ground Impact and Rock Break. If you can, try to Duel him for more damage. When you are in D-Mode, use Dark Aura only if he doesn't have red aura around him. A good thing to do here is to quickly remember what Cards you have and their order. That helps with faster Card Breaking. If you are strong enough, you can finish him off with three Dark Aura while in D-Mode. ------------- After, you get the Lexaeus Card. Go on for the Destiny Islands World Card. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Go into the room that requires the Key Card Of Beginnings. --------------- Boss: Dark Side Once it uses Dark Punch, get near the hand and take out few Shadow for the Gimmick Card. Jump on the platform and start attacking. For its other attacks, try to Card Break them. --------------- After, you get the Dark Side Card. Use the door to get out to save your game. Come back and speak with Sora. ------------ Boss: Zexion Riku is already in D-Mode. Get close and start attacking. If he uses Cyclone Snatch, Card Break it ASAP or use Square to move away. Otherwise, you have to attack the books before you can get your Cards back. If he multiplies himself, get to the center and use Inverse Burst. If he grabs you and use Dark Punisher, quickly Card Break it. The most annoying thing in this fight is the lack of Cards situation you can run into. One thing you could do from the beginning is to go berserk with Dark Break or Dark Firaga. Keep on using Stock to try to inflict as much damage as you can. Once you are down with few Cards, get near Zexion and keep on attacking. ------------ After, you get the Zexion Card. Go on for the Twilight Town World Card. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Go into the room that requires the Key Card Of Beginnings. ------------------ Boss: Riku Replica Be more defensive with this fight. Run around and Card Break. When you are in D-Mode, use Dark Firaga. If he tries to use Dark Aura, quickly Card Break it. If you can't, roll around like crazy. ------------------ After, you get the Riku Card. Go into the room that requires the Key Card Of Guidance. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Save your game then go into the room that requires the Key Card Of Beginnings. ----------------- Final Boss: Ansem Card Break as usual. If you can, Duel him for more damage. Once you are in the D-Mode, finish it off with Dark Aura. If not, abuse Dark Break and Dark Firaga. Most of his attacks are easy to dodge if you just roll away. Remember where your Zero Cards are and Card Break attacks like Shock Wave Slash. ----------------- After, sit back and enjoy the ending. Make a Clear Data afterward. Theater Mode(Riku) is now available. That is it for Re: Chain Of Memories. If you've already beaten Final Mix, then the Final Mix Theater Mode should have Japanese Voices available now. All new scenes in Final Mix don't have English Voices but they have Japanese Voices. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
