A 20.0% shareholding in AAPT Limited, Australia's third largest long distance telecommunications company after Telstra and Cable & Wireless Optus. AAPIS (majority owned by News Corporation and John Fairfax), MCI, and Todd Capital founded AAPT in 1992. AAPT was publicly listed in 1997. Todd Capital sold its entire shareholding in January 1999.

A 21.0% shareholding in UtiliCorp NZ Inc, a significant investor in the New Zealand electricity distribution sector. UtiliCorp NZ Inc was a joint venture established between Todd Capital and the United States based UtiliCorp United Inc in 1994. This shareholding was successfully exited in October 1998 following major legislative changes that affected the ownership structure of New Zealand's energy sector.

Todd Capital acted as the key facilitator in establishing all of the above companies in the New Zealand and Australian markets.
