Shakespeare on the Green is seeking teams of 10-12 people to serve as what we call Merry Bandits.  The Merry Bandits volunteer their time and enthusiasm for one evening's performance at Shakespeare on the Green.  They not only run the operations of the festival, but they help keep the festival FREE for families throughout the region to enjoy.

Merry Bandit teams are rewarded by getting anannouncement before the show, during intermissionand even get special seating. Plus, if your group serves a cause, materials may be made available to the audience at a booth at the entrance.

Activities include:

• Greeting the audience and handing out programs
• Selling souvenirs
• Passing the hat for the all-important contribution
• Having fun!

Last summer, audiences averaged more than 2,700 people per night.  It's a marvelous opportunity for your organization to provide a valuable visible service to the community and enjoy excellent professional entertainment.

So share the fun with your friends, family, colleagues, neighbors, or classmates!  And spend the night in Omaha’s beautiful Elmwood Park. Come around 6:30and interact with the audience til the play begins, then a bit more during the intermission. You may then leave or enjoy the rest of the play.
