CHICAGO -- Veteran Chicago sports anchor Bruce Wolf is part of the NBC5 sports team. Wolf's 20-plus years of Chicago experience, on both TV and radio, have prepared him for his new role.Wolf joined the NBC5 News team in September 2006. His unique brand of humor and reporting is seen throughout NBC5 News programming."Bruce has many years of Chicago broadcast experience. We are pleased to have him join our team," he added.Wolf came to NBC5 from WFLD-TV, where he was sports anchor for 18 years.Wolf is the alter ego of Chet Chitchat, a character based on a sportscaster. His character has been a fixture on Chicago radio for the last two decades.This multifaceted talent is also an attorney. He resides in the northern suburbs with his wife and children.
