Globalisation places new demands on the Region but also opens up new opportunities.

The President of the Nordic Council, Dagfinn Høybraaten, warmly welcomes the priorities drawn up by the Nordic Prime Ministers on Tuesday to strengthen the role of the Nordic Region in the whole process of globalisation.

Six Nordic Masters

The universities in Åbo and Jyväskylä in Finland, Bergen in Norway, Copenhagen and Århus in Denmark and the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden will be the main co-ordinators of six specially selected Nordic Masters programmes. The six projects will involve 17 institutes of higher education in all of the Nordic countries.
