The Forever I Do wedding competition has been held annually since 2001 and has received rave reviews from participating couples and the public at large. This programme gives couples living in Barbados a chance to win their dream wedding and honeymoon.

Competition Details

  • Couples planning to get married will be asked to provide the Nation with a brief background of their love story, and what makes their love so special by answering the following questions.
    • How did you meet?
    • How long have you been a couple? What makes your love so special?
    • How long have you been engaged? Please describe the marriage proposal.
    • Why do you deserve to win?
    • What is your idea of a "Dream Wedding"?
  • A panel will then select the competition finalists from the entries received to be featured in “True Love Stories”, in the Sunday Sun newspaper.
  • Each week, The Nation will feature the stories of two couples and readers will be invited to vote for their favourite couple.
